Ctrl+c on the first line, then make sure the red line is on 0:01, then hit Ctrl+v.
You need to move the red line by clicking on the very top bar. The red line is what frame of animation you're on, any edits you make go to where the red line is.

I've been working on a basic walking animation for a 2d model but I've run into an issue. I have the animation itself complete and I've filled in every movement slot of the override with it to make sure it is actually played. When I am in game and moving, it clearly goes to the first frame, but it never goes through the whole animation. Is it because the key is constantly pressed that causes the animation to continually refresh on that first frame? How can I solve this? I'm fairly unfamiliar with unity so if I could get a good detailed explanation I would appreciate it.
