I had a dream earlier that involved Shadow pulling out a firearm and standing in front of his friends when he suspected that there was about to be an attack.

I realised that you know what, fuck it, Shadow with a gun IS cool. I totally get why fans were asking for such a thing, and why Sonic Team ended up doing it. Yeah it's a bit silly, but the juxtaposition makes it so ridiculous that it just works for me. I wish we could get a new Shadow game, or a re-release.

I saw a Youtuber saying that Forces could have actually been good if it was just restructured to be a Shadow game because all of the elements of the game that worked or COULD have worked basically stem back to Shadow, both story and gameplay-wise (Personal history with Infinite, harder levels, weapons/wispons, ect), and I agree with him.

I'm not trying to start shit but abt I kinda think that abt is seriously a hack.
you can trace every single phase of his work back to someone else's. Even his personal work is incredibly derivative. Everyone takes influences and that's cool, but there's no reason his Forces comics should look so much like Hesse's work after years of being on the books.
abt seems like a really cool, honest guy but I get this vibe that he really lacks original creativity.

I sort of did the same thing, when I was much younger I wrote out a very lengthy and detailed document explaining Shadow's life from SA2 to ShTH detailing everything chronologically and extensively as best I could

Not only do I want another game, I have been arguing for 13 years that Shadow the Hedgehog is a GOOD game. I genuinely think its one of the most fun and charming 3D Sonic games in the series. Yes, there are some problems, but there are also some insanely fun levels, kick-ass music, a buddy system that cameos your favourite characters without them being too obtrusive, possibly the best music in the series, and honestly? The gunplay isn't even bad. There's a bunch of fun stuff to use and enough enemy types that you gotta mix it up. I remember greatly enjoying the game and played it over 100 times.

I think Forces is the closest we're going to get to another Shadow game though, what with the Team Dark plot relevance, the gunplay, and playable Shadow, and thats exactly why I bought that game

I would kill for a buddy cop Team Dark game/comic with Rouge, Shadow and Omega taking on the Selfish, the Straight Man and the Loose Cannons with Tower having a go at them for taking out an entire city block.

I've seen multiple people say that the Shadow DLC was one of the definite good parts of the game with a tighter narrative and more interesting/challenging gameplay, although mixed response on his role in the story. Some hate Infinite's origin, but I've seen some praise for having Shadow be personally involved and actually giving Infinite some actual motives not explained in the rest of the game.

Also seen praise for being able to then play as Shadow in the rest of the games modern levels too. Fingers crossed Sega take notice. It was the first time they took a risk at having a side character be playable in a main game again since 06 happened.

I personally liked the love Omega got in the game at least, considering he was left out of Generations. Glad whoever the newbies were on the game at least appreciate him.

Yeah. I said this before as well, as much as I like Unleashed's model, they don't age well for exaggerated animations. If anything it allows laziness in the fluidity of the model, imo.

I don't know why you expect ABT to be anything different? I imagine he's only the comic for the same reasonm Jen Hen is; Cheap labor. Hesse's got his hands in fifty other pots and probably costs twice as much as those two do.

I would preorder a game with Shadow playable immediately. I'm that bad. As for the Shadow movie, they'd be crazy not to include him. It's aiming for a PG-13 rating and Shadow's one of the edgiest characters of the franchise. I just hope it'll be good, hell.

Aaron's said before on a livestream that the team stalks YouTube and other Sonic places. He said they were listening. I'm sure they've noticed. With Iizuka as the head of the team, there's a chance of Shadow being playable again.
