Tbh while I hope PQ2 has more than one cast, I fucking wish they would just go with one path. I hated replaying PQ, and the differences were far too minimal to make it worth it, and frankly they'd be able to do a much better actual crossover story if they didn't force the games to go their own way for the entire campaign. Given that there'll likely be three casts this time, making three routes seems a little too much, so I really hope they just do one route.

Ah yes, I forgot about that one. Anytime a camp character is added in they're always held to the microscope instead of just brushed aside like the side character they are. Slightly unrelated, but I liked how Inoue was portrayed in the spinoffs. He felt like a real guardian to Rise by watching out for her but also giving her space when it came to the Persona-related things she kept private.

The P3/P4 cast was already watered down a lot just to keep everyone really distinct, so I'd appreciate it if they didn't just add them all in with P5's crew again. I really want them to unite with P1 cast if they're going to crossover. It's unlikely and a riskier move, but the casts are similarly sized and P5's characters tend to resonate with P1's, although they're much cleaner and not actual delinquents.
But of course, short of an anniversary event, it's only a dream.
I agree. Clearly P3 has absolutely no relevance anymore. That's why Atlus has completely forgotten it, and isn't making any merchandise for it anytime soon. And since P3 isn't relevant, obviously a more recent game wouldn't be either.

It doesn't need to be just P5 either. Make it a crossover with P1 or P2 and you will have the same effect. We're at 8 months with no info on the game but with the entire relevant and paying fanbase believing it will be a crossover of the three games. It's not just a matter of P1 or P2 not being marketable but also pissing off majority of your customers.
