I liked Morrigan's character quest and backstory well enough, but didn't really warm up to her personal interactions in Origins. There were too many instances of the player being torn down for doing the right thing, even if the warden has a pragmatic reason for doing so.

Isabella's fun and likable despite being expected to be a one-note femme fatale after the first meeting, and Merrill's naive, but an interesting subversion to the majority of one-dimensionally evil blood mages throughout the series. Inquisitor by all means has no right to ban them from Ferelden where they stopped the Blight decade ago (especially with Alistair as a king which is cannon). No one cares about him after loosing his magic hand and Inquisition being made reduced or disbanded.
