Sorry, I wanted to post but the image limit was reached. I'm pretty okay, friend! I really hope you feel better! Reminder that even my friends who rarely go on /drg/ love you as well. Also, reminder that you're the reason I go to /drg/ everyday, I love you!
Take a writer who writes the most generic, boring waifu bait, then tell him to do the OPPOSITE of that and make a girl who everyone hates. It's like, what's the opposite of bad? Miu.
Also put her in the body of a gorgeous tiddy monster.

Why is WinterDRShit on the OP take it off

I uhhhhhh... that might be a bit too much... but I appreciate it, thanks
Kuzuryuu's organized crime, Ouma's street/petty crime. The Yakuza approach being businessmen at times and deal more in extortion, drug/human trafficking and gambling instead of simple robbery/theft, graffiting, destruction of public property, etc etc.
Fun fact: Ouma actually gets unhappy if you suggest watching a documentary about organized crime in Salmon Mode.
im far less obsessed than baconfucker or junkofag why dont you quote them calling them obsessed, hmm? is it because you hate my skin color? shh, let's sweep that under the rug and forget racial issues because you just don't like me
Looks like it's Kaito, then. This works. Which also means Maki is a chubbychaser, and so I guess Makifags aren't nearly so hopeless?

Okay, how does that work?
From the shit I've read, it seems pretty damn simple: you can't have any updates if you have no sprites or anything made to put into the game in the first place, and you can't have any communication if you have nothing new to communicate at all. Sometimes that's just how it is.
Well, the problem with the Survivalist used to be the fact that the guy who came up with the character concept had an autistically narrow view of what he wanted the character to be, and would get into arguments with other people about it. Then shitposters latched onto him in efforts to try and derail discussion. Either way, as it stands, Survivalist is an okay character, a comedic relief Doomsday prepper is fine. He just needs an actually Japanese name and a slightly more robust backstory, maybe a couple quirks, for him to feel more complete.

I want a main character who just throws himself into whatever weird mess his eccentric classmates get into, but that's not likely. The wise guy + straight man set up seems like a requirement in Japanese comedy.
I was talking with a friend/thinking it over and the central problem to this thing ever producing any kind of results is the organization.
We're putting all of our stock in a single anonymous person to a. Write a compelling, interesting and coherent story with engaging trials and mysteries and b. completely mod SDR2 into a different game without actually knowing if he can do either of those things and not having any evidence that he can. It's really, really unrealistic to think anything's going to come of it soon. "Veeky Forums made Katawa Shoujo! It's possible to make a game!" Sure, if you have a dedicated team who go off user and work on it as a collaborative project for five years.
Projects like these take time, organization and constant communication to actually get done, especially when it involves coding an entire game. Scrap the game idea, rework it into an SA-style LP fanfiction, get a non-anonymous team together and map out the steps for crafting the overarching themes/setting, murders/trial order, character concepts and relationships and then sprites/CGs/assets in that order, and then you have a feasible project that could be completed in the next year.
Maybe I have the totally wrong idea about the way this is getting made, but to me, it seems like people are throwing out ideas/sprites/art/character concepts into the abyss and getting agitated that they're not seeing any results.
The only weird guy/straight man comedic setup that's really made me laugh was Arakawa Under the Bridge, and that's only because the "straight man" was such a straight man that he looped back around into being weird. Still, a protag who eggs on his classmates' bizarre habits could be fun.

I'm anxious

it sucks that Japan can't write a protag that isn't self inserty. The only thing you need for a main character is that you care about them. The audience can care about people other than themselves Japan

AE Toko is much cooler than DR1 Toko.
Owen Young
Uh, no, WinterDR user can't work on the game until all 300+ sprites are finished. He's just been patiently waiting this whole time, it's our fault for being lazy.

What if Byakuya fell in love with Komaru How fast would Toko an hero
Hunter Young
He could tell us that, because this is the first I've heard of this

I don't expect that Winter DR will ever get off the ground and never had such expectations.
