I got this game last week and I'm enjoying it so far, any tips for this one demon thing I know to attack the dogs first but he keeps kicking my ass, the arena is too fucking small. Just when I thought the Gargoyles were nearly impossible.
Juan Collins
Yeah, that's way too fucking high, most people in Farron Keep are around SL30 with a +2 weapon, read the OP for more info. If you invade, you mainly have to invade upward.
Use the stairs.
Aaron Torres
Computer problems here. Literally the entire problem was BitDefender. Any suggestions on an antivirus that WON'T try to delete my games?
Camden Mitchell
Get you some poise if you don't have some already. Getting staggered is a death sentence in that fight.
Joshua Martin
Second this about the poise. I played Bloodborne first so I was not used to blocking in DS1. As soon as I remembered I had a shield in my left hand, and started using it, I won that fight.
Gabriel Thompson
common sense
Nolan Anderson
Common sense doesn't protect against drive-bys hidden in any location pushers can find. Especially now that everyone's found ways to completely bypass any adblockers.
Benjamin Torres
You could try AVG.
William Edwards
Shit, I never even considered that. What an awful mechanic for anyone who actually enjoys PvP.
Also, >summon a purple in Farron Keep >drop him a purple moss when he gets to me >bow >I hit him a couple times >he chugs What? Why does this always happen? Who thought phantoms should be able to chug? More importantly, why does every phantom chug in a 1v1?
Aiden Young
If he chugs, then he's a fucking retard because you have twice the Estus, and he threw away his one chance at victory by doing so.
Connor Bailey
first for shitty faithfuls killing invaders
Kayden Thompson
Probably because you have 30% more health and x2 estus, so they assume you have an advantage and resort to chugging.
Angel Sullivan
Post your favorite DS1 builds, nignogs.
Logan Nelson
if he's a trading build, and he's super low, he should chug. Yes he's throwing the advantage away, but not throwing the advantage away is as good as sitting still and dying.
Christopher Sanchez
AVG seems slightly shady, the free version doesn't let me do anything with it.
Hunter Hughes
Ya he fucken died. Another awful mechanic. Literally why gimp invaders so hard?
Is there anything more satisfying than landing that fully charged R2 poke? Every time it sends someone into a panic, and you can either WA charge them or watch them roll down an empty elevator shaft
It's for maximum level range. If i buy the remaster i'd go to 20 or so since the player pool will be larger, but honestly I just like the cosplay. I could probably afford to go sl 30 really.
I just like popping iron flesh at the second last bridge and trying to hit the wind attack when they panic
Nolan Kelly
>finally hornet riposte some fucking faggot who has been ganking for hours >he has fking tears >thank god i have thorn armor for hands >roll asap >he fucking rolls the thorns >his fucking butt buddy phantoms gangbang me surprise surprise >and like clockwork the fucking point down
I read them selectively. Why, I'm serious, why does everyone else get invaded so much more than I do?
Kayden Brown
I'm sorry what does this sentence mean?
Jaxon Sullivan
I was talking about invading someone else.
Landon Nelson
Oh. I do that occasionally. Mostly I just PvE.
Ian Hill
>haven't played with sorceries since ds1 >the greatsword spell looks pretty neat Of 2 and 3, which game is more fun to sling spells during PvE? Which has the best fashion, and for male/female? Is pure INT caster viable for either? Kinda leaning towards 3 since it also has a few of the greatsword spells, but the consumables in 2 seems alright and adding in some pyro also seems more viable
Nolan Brooks
Does anyone have some info or a link on how much more poison/bleed you inflict on someone per luck level?
Benjamin Powell
I think you are confused my friend. If you want to get invaded, you have to be embered. You can use a dried finger too and that will let you keep getting invaded, usually there is a timer if you get killed by an invader and re-ember before you can be invaded again. It's probably like 10 minutes or so. Dried finger removes this problem
Sebastian Hall
>Of 2 and 3, which game is more fun to sling spells during PvE? 2 easily >Is pure INT caster viable for either? It's definitely viable in 2 and IIRC doable in 3 as long as you have a non-magic weapon for bosses like Crystal Sage or just use Hidden Body to bypass a lot of shit.
>Invading in Cathedral >Suddenly, a host with 3, count 'em, 3 overleveled phantoms >It begins >Throw one of them into Asotra's greatblender, dead >Realize the sorcerer is casting white dragon breath and pic. related >Corner the other white phantom instead >Another red enters the fray, we're whittling him down >Suddenly a fucking connection error I've never seen someone pull the plug because their FRIEND was in trouble.
If the friend dies, then he's the one that's going to be next. Why waste time?
Eli Sullivan
alright, i'll give it a shot in 2. At least most of the 'meta' gear is just cast speed in that game, although I'm beginning to remember why I don't like spells
Henry Sanders
>tfw another red fucking kills you with friendly fire when the host is finally alone
He's cowardly enough to let his friends do all the work for him. Why should he believe in anything but his ability to disconnect?
Hunter Evans
> reposting since other thread will die soon
Cooper Thomas
Any mods for Dark Souls 3 that you guys recommend? I checked the OP and didn't see any mention.
Adrian Stewart
>Want a bunch of items from transposing souls >Also want hodrick's armor and shield So I basicly have to play through 80% of the game without killing the tree so I can finish Sirris' questline?
No? The tree has nothing to do with Sirris' questline.
Jordan Moore
>absorption is below 20 >get fucking killed in like 2 hits
but my fashion. I'm going to have to totally chang emy look
Robert Nelson
1.I'm pretty fucking goddamn sure it does because if you kill the tree, hodrick dies and you can't kill him with sirris. 2. It has everything to do with the transposing kiln so I'm cucked from transposing until I finish Sirris' questline which is late into the game.
Jacob Richardson
no even if he dies by the tree the sirris questline will revive him to finish her quest
Jackson Wright
He only pretends to die, you still get to fight him with Sirris if you are at that point of her quest
Jonathan Cox
Can anyone please drop me a greatlance on ps4 at the tower bonfire? P.W. is dsg
Evan Long
Nope. You're wrong. Source: I've done it in the last three playthroughs.
Benjamin Robinson
Killing the tree has absolutely zero effect on Sirris's questline.
Leo White
Nice responses, thanks. R.I.P. tree.
Does hodrick need to be alive to rank up and recieve rewards for the moundmaker covenant?
R1 L2 R2 and bleed gives it good instakill potential, but the greatclub has a better moveset for entry despite its weaponart being utterly unuseable. I really do with I could mash the two together.
Thomas Perez
does any miracle boosts affect the Morne's Hammer weapon art? I got like 1 shotted by it earlier, im curious
Landon Green
It seems like we some lag as on my screen I completely evaded the grab attack and then teleported back in her hand.
Thomas Diaz
You got hit during Instability, that's why it did a fuckload of damage to you.
Parker Morgan
Go to the tower bonfire, I have an idea. Maybe the deep axe will help a bit
Aiden Sanders
I'm at Ariandel and I just arrived at this bonfire where a statue moved to open a new path. There's also a summon sign of Slave Gael saying he will be summoned at another place. Should I summon him story-wise?
John Sullivan
If I had a greatlance I'd give it to you, fighting Dancer this early is complete aids.
Carson Richardson
Literally doesn't matter.
Ian Brooks
We don’t have to. I’m fine with waiting some levels
Carson Rivera
how about a str/fai build with it?
Jackson Peterson
I mean I'm SL 125 so I'm scaled down to your level.
Aiden Flores
>>absorption is below 20 >>get fucking killed in like 2 hits Going from 0% to 20 is going to shave off less than a fifth from each attack given that flat defenses have at least a nonzero impact. It won't increase the amount of hits it takes to kill you by more than one at most unless you're already taking five of them already, and that's assuming you're coming up from 0%. If you're at least at around 10% absorption (master's set already has 6), hitting 20 won't be increasing the amount of hits it takes to kill you by more than one unless you were already able to take 10 of them.
You can add 10% HP with around six to eight levels of vigor while a 10% increase in absorption is probably going to take at least twice as much vitality investment if you were at least already wearing rags. It isn't really worth the investment until you've put your vigor up into the forties or something.
Easton Sanders
Like I said, don’t worry about it. I’ll just come back after the road of sacrifice
Logan Morgan
Pretty one-shot good if you heavy infuse it with DMB on top.
Joshua Wilson
HAWW HAW HAAA you don't need my permission dude
Angel Flores
Alright, I'll probably be here for 2 hours.
Liam Sullivan
thats exactly what i had in mind. thanks
Elijah Rivera
Cool, thanks. I just demolished vordt for some levels
Kayden Lee
>ragequit last night because aussie lag ruins PvP >swear to myself that I'm quitting DS3 >have the urge to play again today
I want to get off this ride
Jayden Rogers
Not really, aside from the followup charge like you said
John Ross
Just killed 2 phantoms in pontiff with a fellow red and then the host disconnected. I have the biggest grin on my face right now
