What does Horatio get for splicing Horatio? Does a spliced Horatio provide the benefits that the spliced Horatio gained from splicing Horatio?
Ian Hughes
splicing horatio is impossible, unless playing as a custom gene-hunter faction splicing horatio grants +1 approval, +2 food the way gene hunters works is that it applies all the splicing buffs only to instances of your species that are in your empire. this means that, if you are a non-horatio, you won't get any super-pops from conquering horatio, and if you are a horatio, any horatio you obtain will automatically have all of your splicing bonuses and nothing else, even if they're taken from a more genetically rich horatio.
Angel Harris
This is a Wiz thread. Horatio posting is not allowed
I'll start a new game today once we get everyone in. Currently at 16/24 empires total, and if you've already submitted one or some, please do leave spaces open for other anons even though I can't verify it, of course
>Species Name/Plural/Adjective >Ship Prefix >Namelist >Star Name >Empire Name / Adjective >Ruler Name >Ruler Title (if applicable)
Linking already submitted empires for convenience.
>don't have white as a flag color by default Wiz is a fucking retard
Jack Carter
Cute >fanatic militarist uh oh
Jace Sanders
>not a RGB slider
I win.
Alexander Reyes
Wiz defense force here. That problem existed before Wiz took over and he has said that he will add more colors. Some day.
Thomas James
Does anyone know from the game files if frozen worlds do have a higher chance of spawning with more minerals? I heard something about this but Im not sure if they did it.
Christian Diaz
Why would they ever code it in such a way that adding more colours is so difficult?
Kek. Get fucked >civ 5 >be naploean on a random generation map >tons of iron near by >half the maps oil near by >science victory despite having a massive military
Originally I made them weak to emphasize their reliance on practical sciences to solve their problems but militarist attraction would be too low. At least xenophile reduces the border friction.
Easton Cox
can you rename species in stellaris? im planning a britannia run and wanted to call future citizens by their proper number. also is chattel slavery more fitting? or chattel system? I dont know if I want numbered slaves or numbered citizens that are basically slaves.
>primary takes fill and edge with a lighter tone Either that or an inversed scheme of what he has now would be ideal. Inverse would actually be better for customization and variety.
Josiah Watson
The present colors are all ass washed regardless of nebulas.
Coloring the ships using also two colors and with no dependency on the flag whatsoever would be great as well but I suspect that would be even harder to implement (Im talking about the body and not the lights).
user is in the wrong for playing such a piece of shit. The walking incinerator is obviously making fun of anons faggotry and the trash man is having a good laugh.
Long fucking shot but does anoyne know how to put the multiplayer turn timer option in singleplayer in Civ IV? Some XML editing that could accomplish this?
Carter Taylor
...why?
James Williams
How do i fix this, /cbg/? I have no idea what i'm doing, i have never played a single city building game before. Infact, i'm playing completely blind, and i have no clue how traffic works.
I don't think anyone who still plays stellaris knows the definition of fun anymore
Leo Robinson
>solid metal containers as trash holders >not getting stolen by bums to be sold on the scrapyard.
There would be nothing left for those two.
Michael Ward
Compared to dust metal containers are probably worthless. I've always wondered if dust is used on the small scale in the ES/EL universe. Like when some guy's buying groceries does he pay in bags of dust?
Evan Peterson
I like the fast pace the turn timer creates, mainly that it forces me to go with something.
Sometimes I get extremely indecisive and get bogged down mulling over tech trade decisions, whipping etc. and it makes the game take way longer than it should.
Oliver Barnes
The shortest path between two points usually forms a straight line. I know this because of my learnings.
Brody Rodriguez
Given their disposition, I'm surprised the Epistis don't make up a majority of the waste/waste disposal sector already.
Jacob Lewis
round shit makes traffic stucc make intersections
Nolan Edwards
Show us more of your shitty roads. Terrible intersections and traffic is my fetish.
Ryder Cox
This is what happens when you pander to Americans
Charles Jackson
You can have your fun as long as you remember Stellaris comes first and ES second
Gabriel Fisher
Stellaris doesnt exist because 2.0.2 has no torrent yet and 2.0.1 is unplayable. Paradox btfo.
Does building habitats and colonizing them increase tradition cost?
Kayden Diaz
Stellaris is like poisonous mushrooms You can enjoy them, but only once
Robert Campbell
I've played stellaris too but it has been so dissapointing so I tried ES2. Idon't want this place to become as depressing as gsg.
>incapable of being happy other anons play a game they enjoy.
David Martinez
Yes, because despite wanting to make Tall viable, Wiz and friends have no idea what they're doing.
Christopher Allen
Attempting to play the game increases tradition cost.
Jonathan Peterson
How? Got any examples?
Justin Turner
>tfw research slows 2% for each system even if it does not have a colony in it
Ryder Howard
I knocked that down to .5%. I recommend everyone do the same.
Henry Carter
Well you see it takes time for a culture to develop traditions you see. When you claim far away places and colonize vast space stations it will take you longer to come up with new ideas to enrich your culture.
It could be optimized because mine upgrades usually increase output by 1 which means they take the same cost amount in months to pay for themselves. If they are rapid breeders it only makes more sense.
Gabriel Myers
Traditions should be more like national ideas and sliders in EU3, you can't have it all. Let the ascension perks be like the ideas and the tradition tree like the sliders that all have an opposite and you have to choose either one or the other.
Are you playing with scaled ai? Because that currently works the other way around with the ai getting a huge boost at the start and later on it diminishes to nothing.
Angel Myers
Why don't you just tell people to put their user_empire_designs.txt file on pastebin and then copy paste them into yours? That got to be way easier. It's located in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris.
Is there a good 4X/Endless _____ youtuber/streamer?
Xavier Green
Not same user, but... >giving a fuck about names and bios instead of traits, civics and government
Thomas Johnson
Does the AI still get raped by pirates and run out of food for no reason on impossible?
Oliver Howard
To be honest I completely forgot you can change that prefix. I'll change it in my local version I guess. It should probably not even come up in the AI game.
Jackson Hughes
>Are you playing with scaled ai? Nope, hardest difficulty
Xavier Gutierrez
attempts to make 'tall' competitive with 'wide' have been a blight on these games since civ V
Michael Clark
Names are about the only way you can give flavor to your shit anymore. I kinda hope they give us more options for customising names and shit. For example I would like to be able to set the names of my civilian ship classes at the empire creation screen.
Nolan Parker
Tall vs wide wasn't even a thing before
Josiah Ramirez
That... would be a lot easier actually, yes. Too late for that now, but if I run another game whenever, I'll be sure to keep that in mind.
Owen Perez
Btw do you know if letting the prefix empty means ships won't have one or that it will be randomised?
Landon Scott
Serious answer, you really don't need a roundabout there, straighten it out, turn that road leading in to it into a one way at a good angle for merging traffic, if you really want a roundabout, move it over to where that congested 4-way is and make the roundabout it's self more than two lanes.
Christian Brown
wklej.org/id/3391921/ iirc you can try playing as xenophobic/machine fallen empire and just riding with human_ai command, I'm not sure if you'll get diplomatic pop-ups though. Or you can use human_ai only when at war/crisis
Brandon Jackson
Oh yeah, that's what I plan on doing. The only unfortunate effect is having to initiate communications with everyone from the start, but since I'll be riding in a fallen empire, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Jose Moore
No I don't, haven't tried that.
Aiden Mitchell
Without a set prefix it leaves it blank.
Carson Cox
I don't think communications change anything in the way AI works. It can start boxing you in before you meet them.
Tried to get into it but it hurts my eyes something fierce. How's the lategame?
Luke Ortiz
I'd probably be if I owned it.
Easton Stewart
Fuel Management Simulator
Jeremiah Adams
The hell is the point of that roundabout? There's a piece of road there that will never be used. You probably need more places to enter/leave your city from or something. You probably bottlenecked all that traffic in one spot.
