it was fun when the community was still trying to figure out the mechanics and any hidden stuff, kind of like a new MMO when it launches

unfortunately like most things in this game, SE over-promised and under-delivered, the 'mechanics' of eureka are pretty shallow and gimmicky, the rewards are sparse and gear level already outdated by previous equipment, and what was promised as 'not FATEs' are actually still FATEs just with a different name
