A shame, this game was so fluid and fun (when it plays out right). I started playing MHW and was suprised on how clunky it felt.
Julian Scott
Just like the Phantom Pain. A good game that could have to been a great one. So much potential squandered by bad decisions and mismanagement. You feel it, too, don't you?
I dont know they might add some shit, could still be around in a week.
Oliver Watson
It's terminal
John Sanders
They just have to edit the map but specially fix bugs and make things more rewarding, they won't do either and things are good as dead
Jeremiah Cook
not having worthwhile rewards is what ultimately made me drop the game after 200 hours.
In that time I found 0 epic weapons and only two purple rifles, but they had shit perks. I see other people kill the boss in under a minute butI can barely get them to half health using all my ammo because my guns still fucking suck or I don't have the required ammo.
Aaron Hernandez
>not having worthwhile rewards is what ultimately made me drop the game after 200 hours. Pretty much this, not single purple ar or epic but the game gives me a bunch of drill spears and makarovs.
Austin Jackson
I think I dismantled about 50 frost machetes.
Fucking ridiculous. It must be broken. No developer can be this fucking retarded.
Ayden Russell
It has to be, I'm missing too many ammo recipes and have received none of the new stuff they added this week or the week before.
Jonathan Baker
It's ogre, lad
They are sitting on their hands, maybe unlocking one thing every week
What the fuck? Being downed in the Rescue type mission and not being revived doesn't mean you respawn, it game overs and dumps you back to your lobby with absolutely no rewards regardless of what part of the mission you'd been at?
Anthony Baker
Where's the Go'za recipe?
Julian Taylor
Oh no, some fag won't draw shitty porn for this game, how sad
Jonathan Cook
The game won't be around much longer anyway.
Hunter Phillips
who cares about some shitty literal who tumblrfaggot
Sebastian Moore
remember, another character slot gives you : another base, another base dig, another chance at postgame bosses, another kuban pool. Shared Inventory, Recipe and Items, and purchased items all year round.
Ian Stewart
Thank you /mgg/. It was fun while it lasted.
Jackson Murphy
Do I have to rebuild the base? Got like 850 coins, waiting until I get enough, no I don't want to pay.
Noah Martin
Why is /mgg/ dying?
Tyler Ward
*for this shitty game
Parker Scott
Yes, but you have access to all your recipes and resources.
Because Konami has dropped the ball two weeks in a row with the game.
Jayden Young
PCucks >cheaters >constantly crying about their shit version being dead, of fucking course when you play a metal gear game on a non sony console >crying about crashes and not being good at the game, have to be babysat
Nicholas Ortiz
I just want the infinite loading screen bug to be fixed. I'm still having fun with the game.
Leo Davis
Fluid? I don't see it; everything feels clunkier to me compared to MGSV. All the cleanness of TPP's CQC was ditched for flaky grabs and counters. To top it off, they're barely worthwhile unless you're knocking off an Armored's helmet or intercepting a tracker. Meanwhile in melee combat, you're probably just spamming something like a sprint attack using props for safety or enemy funneling, since playing any other way means dealing with agonizingly slow windups against enemies with a comparatively superior ability to perform unpredictable and quick interrupting attacks
If you meant fluid in the sense of liquid shit, then yeah, it's pretty fluid. It is fun though, so it's a shame it's already dead
Josiah Lewis
>No MGO3 update in years I had a lingering hope that MGO would be revived with the release of Survive it's pretty grim.
Henry James
Hammer throw is fun, knocks crowds down and explodes bombers, the grab and kick also lets you backstab mortars without them knocking you off, consecutive backstab is decent for clearing small crowds in stealth camo. Wish they kept the basic CQC combo in though.
Thomas Davis
No I mean more fluid to adapt and change on the go. Go back to /v/eddit.
Adam Brown
>adapt and change on the go What does that mean and how does it imply fluidity? To me fluidity means controls easily translating into effect in game, especially in tense scenarios, something that's rocky in Survive and was great in TPP. And if I leave I have a feeling you'll be the last one here friend
Nathaniel Stewart
Nah it's the other way around. MH is clunky as hell, especially compared to combos and changing directions.
It's ok user, you can leave now.
Eli Young
I'm only saying Survive's not fluid, aside from what went unchanged from MGSV-- basic movement, essentially. The way melee responds to movement direction is a surprisingly nice touch for something so otherwise clearly hacked together, but it doesn't address the overall situational clumsiness of melee in many circumstances. Sorry, I'm probably overthinking your words, if you catch my drift
Ayden Morgan
So I've gotten 40k BP, and I'm getting bored. Should I just stop now? Should I join the ranks of the many who've just given up and are waiting for this game to actually have an endgame?
Grayson Bennett
No, go and level up the rest of the classes you fag.
Nathan Gutierrez
I just finished the game, it took me like 30 hours, which is pretty long for me. I want to join some Co op missions, but are there any good recipes for weapons, ammo in SP? Also I'm low on wood, where the fuck do I find it
Cameron Flores
ummmm...something weird happened..I had that secondary mission with a red marker on the map saying 'powerful creature detected' but then I went on doing other shit and digging singularities that I forgot to do it..now it has disappeared from the map there is no red marker anymore..have I missed it forever? will it ever come back?
Blake Thompson
Base digs and co-op have most of the end-game recipes.
Codetalker's mansion.
It will return in a few days, real days.
Gabriel Bailey
It's a boss fight. If you didn't kill them yet, they'll come back. It might be some time until they do respawn. To my knowledge, they do not respawn after you kill them, though. Not that it matters too much, the rewards they drop, while decent, you can get from hard coop missions.
Blake Hughes
Wood is everywhere, just do transporter loops.
Michael Thompson
ooga booga ay yo where da sale prices at da rice man holdin the player count down
Andrew Miller
Man, I wish expedition teams did the transporter loops for us. They're really only good for killing off guys right now.
Isaac Hall
Dear mgg, I have three questions. 1. Is it possible to change what region you matchup with on PS4? Because mine shows Europe and it's not very populated, I think. Hearing how asians jumped on this, I thought I could try my luck with Asian region. 2. What is the best defense placement for a person who is not throught Base Dig 2 yet? I have flame traps, auto machine turrets and walls, not much else. I was thinking the logical: pile up everything essential close to middle, do a row of auto turrets every other square, do a fence around them, another layer of fence in front of turrets in case a bomber comes close. But once I tried this setup, some Trackers flew right over my turrets and started wreaking havoc, but mostly hitting Digger. So I'm thinking of putting another 4 auto turrets closer to the middle facing the Digger. 3.Does anyone know how far Auto Turrets shoot? 2 squares in front of them or 3?
1. Options in title screen I think Everything else. Git gud
Carson Williams
Enemies in digs will spawn and walk along predictable routes. Some user posted a map last thread that gives you an idea of where to put your defenses. Trackers are cunts and will jump all over the place. There isn't a lot you can do about it except try and shoot them before they get to your digger.
Ayden James
Are Trackers still an issue even when Base autodefends in your absence? Also, did you happen to save that map? That would help me out big time.
why would you ever do base digs by yourself? You just lose a million bullets and degrade your weapons instead of just a few electric fences
Henry Johnson
I don't trust the game to do it for me.
Ryan Moore
If you pick that option to abort base digs early to get the reward immediately, can you initiate other one right away or is there a cooldown?
Matthew Cooper
Yet amazingly, the RNG will fuck you as hard as it ever did and you will not receive rewards consistent with your output.
Xavier Russell
>can you initiate other one right away yes
Jordan Martin
>tfw Lost Heaven makes it easier to get female survivors
David Young
I've read you need the Base Defence Team at B rank to ensure base defences work. Is that true?
Dominic Thompson
Daily is super easy to solo, so if you want to grind for whatever, nows the time.
High rank and a special setup, yes.
Levi Parker
>special setup Can you elaborate or direct me somewhere that can? I started my first dig at midnight last night and I'm not keen to wait up again tonight to defend it.
Christian Powell
Hey, brother in arms. I'm having my second wave tonight at midnight too. But I feel my auto turrets can handle it. I'll just camp Digger with my shotgun to keep it safe from those pesky Trackers.
I have two concentric squares of chainlink fence around the middle of base camp with auto turrets behind them spaced every few tiles. Got rid of everything else but my garden and my goats. The only crew left alive are the mandatory stoy folks. Use FOB for my cooking, crafting, and sleep. Working on exploring both maps. It stopped being fun a while ago. Now it's just that I want to fill in the random empty squares on maps. Death Stranding when?
>play without drainstab >finally play with drainstab wtf i love medic now
Adam Harris
medic's drainstab is best for coop scout's stab'n'grab is best for solo
Lucas Sanders
Does it make playing as melee feel less shit?
Christopher Long
Nice
Ryan Nelson
"Kaz, I'm already half Xehanort"
Liam Barnes
yes you can play more recklessly, easily heal up and knuckle all day every day
Adam Brown
Hu, maybe I'll give medic a try
Noah Garcia
Medic is a severally underused class desu. Props to those anons that still main it you are doing it a great service in showing people that all classes are capable of great things.
Luke Brooks
At what level of damage does spartan boost kick in? That's pretty critical, as otherwise you don't have access to a significant damage increase like jaeger and assault.
Austin James
medic is secretly good you might be slower at killing shit than assault but you can do it endlessly and very safely going FATTY with maximum defence is also worth it then just stack str/vit
I'm not sure since I don't use it, I rarely drop below 50% health because I just spin2win groups of mobs and drainstab stragglers
Alexander White
Is the cooking trophy doable yet?
Owen Stewart
Consecutive Stabber is still solid for co-op as long as you're not under leveled imo
You can pretty much cloak and vaporize a spawn with it
Isaac Diaz
>haven't got anyone modest at anything in 18 attempts now no wonder this game is ded
Daniel Williams
It should be since there are no epic building yet at least
Nolan Evans
>You lack resources to make more This. Those sensor units are elusive.
Jose Hernandez
>sensor units >elusive I have something like 300 sensor units but 12 firing units send help I just want to build turrets
