Abathur is a mastermind style hero so if you don't have 200IQ you and your team will suffer immensely because you won't be impactful. However, he's one of the more unique heroes in the entire genre if not THE most, so I recommend playing him eventually for sure.

How do I play valeera? I hardly do any damage, all I do is help gank but once late game hits i'm almost completely useless unless the enemy team dives and forgets their healer in the back.

personally i go vigor and thistle tea, beyond that it's E talents. the big thing is not wasting energy with W unless you can hit multiple heroes. open with your stealth ability then Q twice, eviscerate for single target. be sure you auto attack, her AAs are pretty strong just because of how fast they are.

yeah, W is a huge energy sink and it'll make it harder to get off your eviscerate quickly. sinisters are 30 energy, blade flurry is 40, evis is 25. with her energy regen you can just straight up do three sinisters and evis immediately thanks to the regen, but throwing in a flurry mucks things up.

I fucking hate Gold / Plat. Everyone thinks they know how to play the game, but in fairness, we just don't. We always overextend, we always sacrifice teamfights in order to get a camp, we always focus the wrong enemy on the fights.
I just wished that gold and plat players could just stop acting like they are high skilled players and could just focus on improving their game mindset.

I've been told to always horrify tracer, but she always jukes it with recall. Am I too predictable or can she actually recall after she notices I've cast it?

horrify takes 0.5 sec to activate, so if a tracer is ready she can recall out. best to cast it in conjunction with a stun in that case. remember those caught in horrify run away from its center, so keep in mind how you aim in on them too, you could end up fearing them away from wherever you want them to go.
His damage was nerfed, but now can get his ults sooner. I don't think he will be totally obsolete but now you do have to play smart then just walking out everything.
