the game has actual bullet physics (fucking remarkable considering the size and scope of the game) and the bullet velocity is terrible, easily 1/3rd or less than that of IRL bullets, so you have to lead by a significant amount even at ridiculous distances like 5m
How to get not janky performance?
I'm fine with the FPS being low in massive battles but random slow downs of aim speed are really getting to me at those low FPS's.

I think it's like the gauss saw; it's very good if you know what you're doing with it, but at first glance and for casual players, it's fucking awful. I legit consider it better than the cyclone. Maybe it doesn't have quite the same TTK, but that suppressor + velocity ammo is fucking baller for an infil.
Don't expect to win any 1vs1 unless you have fucking perfect aim. It's the kind of gun where you get the drop on someone and murder them before they even know wtf happened. This is mostly because it doesn't have the ammo capacity to sustain missing. If you miss the majority if your opening shots (~1/4th of your mag), disengage, you fucked up and don't have the ammo left to kill them properly.
It is a very unique SMG and I love it. Sits in a niche between a carbine and an SMG and has an appropriate damage model for it. Literally the best gun wrel's introduced so far.

I exclusively play jumpy assault, my favorite gun is the ACX and this gun is giving me a headache. Maybe it's because I don't like Infiltrator, I think it isn't a very good class for anything but farming NPCs but I'm always just like "i wish i were using a carbine right now so i could hose down all these heads running across this field instead of firing three shots before my bullets start going into space"
i mean literally watching out of a helicocksucker but ok
As the user who always whines about that, I still haven't found a proper fix. Potato settings help, as do only running 1x mag optics, but I've tried fiddling with every setting I can think of except maybe setting an artificial fps cap and nothing's fixed it. I'm wondering if it might be a driver issue or something.

I counted ~10-14 hits, with 200 boolet that's ~2000 - 2800 damage tanked by the carapace medic in 7 seconds. Not too shabby.
