Slave rats have very little health and are the majority of kills counted, high health enemies don't count much for kills but they do for damage. Damage overkill doesn't go towards damage on the scoreboard.

thats not what a phantom swing is, that sounds more like either you got your guard broken and then something hit you immediately afterwards, or you weren't facing what hit you and got hit regardless because most weapons don't block 360 degrees anymore. Or maybe it was just latency

The last few days (1.0.4.2?) I've been noticing hits going through the block, like almost every run? And we're talking like light attacks going through full shields here, long after I started holding MB2. Something is seriously going on with this, and it's very reminding of the phantom swing issue...
due to having almost infinite ammo you don't really get hit very often unless you have no melees in your team or are retarded

Why everyone ITT is a flawless god and king in this game and I am the only one who sometimes makes mistakes and instantly gets splattered because of them.
That bird is a Shrike, anything they catch they impale on anything spiky they can find to eat later. You know you're in their territory when you start seeing bugs, rodents, and other birds impaled on trees, bushes, and barbed wire.

Is ironbreaker worth continuing to play? I love all the shields and reduced damage I have. I don't really care about getting most kills or damage. I've noticed that I can get a lot of clutch moments where the match would fail and I can live or revive people who have fallen just because I can stand there and give them 50% reduced damage and quick revives without taking any damage myself. Also 100% block reduction is nice.
What if we mounted ratling gunners on their backs
One ratling on each shoulder and then a packmaster in his back to prevent any sort of backstabbing.

I thought this game was supposed to be a melee focused L4D? You play Waystalker, Bounty Hunter, or Pyro and all you do is clear waves, destroy specials, and kill bosses before literally anyone else on your team can touch them. I literally just finished a run of four legend+2 grim games where our Elf and Pyro had 20 melee kills between them but over 900 ranged kills, 100 elite kills, and 60+ special kills.
These careers are so braindead to play as well, what's the actual fucking point of this game?

Anything higher than champ is pointless. The amount of time needed to complete a match above it is actually a negative result of time.
Ranged careers are objectively better at doing just about everything in the game. If you're able to clear legend and actually helping your team then just play whatever you want, but if not, BH is a massive boon in Legend.
Also, WHC's ability is trash and the cooldown is enormous for what is essentially a terrible stun,
