Anyone who says non-expert raid bosses are better than expert raid bosses are either bad and cant see the difference or they dont get into the right block and start the quest at the right time.
Literally every non-expert raid EQ I've been in have been worse except for 1 or 2 rare instances where they were just as good as expert, but it's been months since that was the case. Probably a year at this point now that I think about it.

Some people seem to think the goal of this game is to fap to their character. Others do it to be desirable for ERP but fail to realize that non-slut characters are far more attractive for that.

>bought 14* You mean atra? There's two new XQs, the solo one has a BOOSTED phaleg as one of its stages because fuck you. There's an exchange shop for the older 14*s with an exchange item that drops from scheduled EQs (1 or 2 per EQ, 500 for a weapon). The 14*s are 60 ele but only 30 grind cap.
Maybe instead of introducing new affixes they should just make it so stat 3 isn't so rare on units

This is the first phantasy star game I had this problem in too I was relatively well geared in the other games but I've been playing since closed beta and have nothing to show for it. You can't really grind your character up by the muscle just catch EQs and smack the piñata. I wish I could stop playing but I can't.

I stopped and started more than 10 times already. The game is in a bad spot but imo the combat and balance is pretty decent outside of hero being effortless. Lots of games want to be souls or mh but I want my mob killing frenzy fests.

Any weather in areas that do have weather. Stuff like tunnels with no weather also doesn't count as clear.

I only have one real 14*, and given you can only get one atra that simply isn't enough for me to bother actually upgrading any of my weapons, so I made a gunslash purely for a longer shifta/deband when a TE isn't around.
I like Fo but after getting my 14 star rod and the free 12* units I felt i could take on the world. With shit like my basic techs almost hitting for 70k and more on the stronger elements i felt like my damage was enough. But after trying my hand at EQs and solo content I come to the conclusion that i suck with this class pretty badly. Is there any resource or something I can read or watch that will help me fight the more troublesome EQ bosses and missions? I would just drop this but I already spent like 20 dollars on trees and mags and shit.
It isn't hard to find solo videos of whatever content you'd like if you need a reference for something in particular. If you're just dying a lot, maybe consider affixing a bit more HP and taking advantage of Deband Cut for harder content - in the solo XQ in particular, you can get an extra ~270hp from timed abilities to help keep yourself alive.

Solo videos arent hard to find but they dont teach me nothing seeing a video of guy with like 4k tatt no shifta and 200+ pp is like trying to read Russian or some shit and have of the strats and movements I can't utilize.
Like I wast trying solo PD for union units and while I do good damage my gear leaves me very vulnerable after burn phases and I can't seem to push phases. I'd run out of pp trying to cast uncharged grants to break the floating orbs to force a vulnerable state. I love the difficulty and if I could have more shots at this I can see myself doing much better but its gated by stupid fucking passes.

The Summoner skill Dear Master causes any fatal damage the Summoner receives to be taken by their pet instead, so long as the pet is alive. So you're basically immortal so long as your pet stays up.
Is your PP too low to take out all the bits on a full bar, or are your Grants casts not breaking them in a single hit? If your PP is low, you could try saving your PPC and PB for the bits in the first phase to make up for it - and if they aren't breaking in one hit, you could just charge your Grants casts (or get Grants crafted, if you haven't done that yet), or even ignore the bits entirely for the first phase. And if you're having a lot of trouble surviving and dealing damage outside of PD's vulnerable periods in the first phase, a little extra HP and/or a Massive Hunter ring might make a big difference. If you're not great at avoiding his attacks yet, MH will make it a lot easier to freely break bits or just deal damage in general when needed.
