They should have never re-established a Polish state after world war 1, it was never viable. Poland was never viable as a country, they had to incorporate territory from Lithuanians, Belarussians, Ukrainians, and Germans to create a viable state for "Poles". Otherwise it would have been too small and landlocked and nonviable, so they decided to patch on territory from a bunch of other countries to create a "Poland".
In fact, the only way Poland managed to become a viable state after the war was to expel millions of Germans and shift the entire border westward, and return the ukrainian and belarussian territories. That's how much nonviable the idea of a Polish state was. Germany was completely right in demanding territory that comprised ethnic Germans and was historically part of Germany, that Poland only laid a claim to because it wanted sea access. Just because you want sea access, doesn't give you a right to snatch land that doesn't belong to your people.
Ian Williams
>doesn't give you a right to snatch land that doesn't belong to your people.
funny, that's what I thought about the Anschluss
Alexander Rivera
but the anschluss was supported by both countries, austrians were mostly german nationalist at the time and supported union with germany, they are both ethnic germans. The Germans in the polish corridor never consented to being annexed by Poland.
James Rodriguez
Land belongs to whoever wins and the Russians won and did what they wanted with the land.
Fuck off.
Wyatt Ward
>but the anschluss was supported by both countries

And Austria was the first victim, they all went into the resistance. Come on now. Austria is German.

Poland is one of the oldest countries in Europe.
Poles never stopped speaking Polish, even when Germans and Russians tried to exterminate Polish identity.

Get fucked Poles have more right to be a country than Germany does. That shot hole should be 4 seperate nations maybe then the cucks can congregate together and take refugee dick.

it's bizarre the lengths Germans will go to justify their insanity

Poland is a very old kingdom. The Kingdom of Poland already existed when Prussians were Pagans who spoke a Baltic language.
The partitions of Poland are a scandal, because they made a nation as numerous in population as Spain, disappear from the map of Europe.
Right now it is Prussians who no longer exist, and they only got themselves to blame.
Isaac Kelly
The creation of /pol/ was a mistake.
They should have never re-established a Politics board after the first one, it was never viable. /pol/ was never viable as a country, they had to incorporate content from /new/, /int/, /n/, and 8/pol/ to create a viable state for "/pol/acks". Otherwise it would have been too slow and logical and viable, so they decided to patch on content from a bunch of other countries to create "/pol/".
In fact, the only way /pol/ managed to become a viable board after the deletion was to steal millions of memes and shift the entire ideology normieward, and return the cuck and frog memes. That's how much nonviable the idea of a /pol/ board was. /int/ was completely right in demanding content that comprised ethnic discussion was being overwhelmed by politics, that /pol/ only laid a claim to because it was butthurt. Just because you want a safe space, doesn't give you a right to snatch boards that doesn't belong to your topic.

tl;dr: "Poland was never a viable state except when it was, it should be incorporated into the ebin Grossgermaniums uberreich because I don't know anything about Slavs or the history of anything east of Germany so don't care"

>The Germans in the polish corridor never consented to being annexed by Poland.
The Poles in the Prussian Partition never consented to being annexed by Prussia but I have a hunch that you don't care about them as much.
Nicholas Richardson
no joke, one of the main reasons Russian and Germany wanted a lot of land in between them. After ww1 there was also a large Pole nationalist movement going on and the government at the time also held onto these nationalist ideas. Poland actually has a rich culture and history there really isnt much else, I mean honestly if you look at History in general its a fucking wonder that eastern Europe is mapped out the way it is today. looking at it post 1800... i mean what the actual fuck was even happening there? Seriously go look at a map youll think youre looking at a goddamn 5 year olds finger painting, all these colors and weird shapes going on.

Poland as a state predates both Germany and Russia, not to mention countries like: Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, England, Sweden, Italy.
What makes you think you can just remove it? Their people never stopped speaking Polish, even when their country was partitioned.
Jeremiah Edwards
Reminder that Poles and Germans had nothing against each other for most of history. Many Germans settled in Poland and had a significant contribution to Polish history. Poland used Germans in their armies Poland even had Germans as their kings in 17th and 18th centuries, the electors of Saxony. It was the Habsburg and Hohenzollern that ruined this by taking Polish lands out of opportunism. Most of the lands taken weren't even considered German, but dominions outside of the Empire.
