Are you guys joking about becoming millionaires with less than $60,000 USD invested into cryptos? I can see it rising a lot but you're not going to make it with your mommy's allowance.

Seriously, is everyone here larping? Nobody seems to have any skin in the game.

If you put 60k into eth/btc, you will. E a millionaire within 10 years. Screen cap this

>$60,000 USD
>mommy's allowance
Fucking westerners, I can make that much money in 7 years, no less.

I'm not counting on becoming a millionaire. I'm a poorfag who makes 35k a year. I can only afford to put in about 2000, I've had double my investment so far. I'm hoping for extra cash at this point. Anything helps.

T. Realistic fuck

1 dollar's worth of bitcoin on day 1 is worth 2.5 million dollars now you silly shit

It's not day one anymore, dummy. You need to invest tens of thousands (maybe even 100k) of dollars now to even dream of that much money.

stay poor socialist third worlder

not a joke, but you have to be extremely lucky (like buy 5k ETH at $1), or put in more than $60k and not make any mistakes. if people can manage to hold long term like 5+ years (most won't) then they will be millionaires. the only people who are millionaires now are og bitcoin fags and people who put a ton of money down on ETH/XRP and other big movers when they were super cheap and risky.

When Ethereum launched in 2014 it was $0.30 a coin. You would have had to put $2,000 into it to become a millionaire. $60,000 invested would have given you 200,000 coins, which is worth $30 million now.

Crypto has been around for what, 7 years? It's stupid to think all the potential for making money has passed.

You can still becone millionaire with shitcoin but you have to bet on the right horse

what the fuck does this t. shit mean

I think it means "signed ______"

No clue what the T stands for

what's next?

golem/waves/bat/...sia?

I'll admit I'm new at all this (despite almost buying bitcoin way back when to use on drugs), so I'm just planning on stacking all summer. I think I'm good, only in a few hundred now though ;__;

blog.coinbase.com/a-beginners-guide-to-ethereum-tokens-fbd5611fe30b

The author, Linda Xie, made a random article about Litecoin in early Apr, and about 3 weeks later it was on coinbase.

So I am going with the ones she listed: Golem, Aragon, and Augur.

>It's stupid to think all the potential for making money has passed.
It's not stupid actually. It's not like the stock market where all companies are lifted by a rising tide. A lot of altcoins are going to be slaughtered because they're nothing but clones or scams. Maybe 5 coins will dominate in the future and you'll still need at least $60k now to become rich.

Get used to hearing this phrase, user:
"If I knew, I'd already be rich"

>drugs got me into bitcoin
your stepdad must be proud of you, little lady.

Don't bully me, I'll be rich one day investing my bag of potatoes into Litecoin.

>Litecoin

l fucking mao

There's people that became millionaires with 20 bux what the fuck you talking about?

BTC and ETH are the only 2 that matter. the rest will either have their 15 minutes of fame or just be moderately successful, and they are not things you could use to become a millionaire unless you gamble huge on them.

ETH tokens are probably the safest bet when it comes to alts though. coins that don't offer unique features are almost always pump and dumps, and that's hard to do without smart contracts which is why every eth token is totally unique.

I dont need to become ""rich", i just need to make some money. 10k is better than 0

i did it with $10,000 in Basic Attention Token and Bancor lol

t. time traveler from 3 years in the future

That was then. This is now. It's like saying investing in Amazon now will make me a millionaire when I should have invested at the bottom of 2002.

The next coin to make a million off of with a $1k investment hasn't been created yet. The fact that there are 1000s of shitcoins has nothing to do with the future potential of coins that bring real innovation.

We're nowhere near mass adoption - how much of the population do you think actually owns any crypto, 0.1%? The market is far from mature and it's weird that you think otherwise

Well at least you admit to being a poorfag.

Ok so which coin then Mr Time Traveler? $1000 is nothing in the top 5 coins now. You would need to throw that into some shitcoin and pray.

Fucking savage

Shortsighted fool. It's the same mechanics, you think pumping 60k will yield shiet. If you sell low and by high on shit coins, like the purple coin.

Stratis ICO last June/July - 1 BTC = 88,550 STRAT with 20% bonus is 106,260. BTC was $600 at the time. 10 BTC would get you 1,062,600 STRAT which is about $3MM USD in less than a year with a $6,000 investment.

That's pretty much how it goes. The stock market was anything but new back when Microsoft was founded for example. And anyone who bought a couple hundred worth of M$ shares back then (without any guarantee they'll ever amount to anything) and held on to them, is now a millionaire. Why you would think that there were and ever will be only three coins to make some real cash off of at this point in time, is beyond me.

Apart from Veeky Forums, Reddit and other places that us basement dwellers frequent, Cryptocurrencies are a thing most have never heard of, or are just hearing whispers about it now, and those who have, have no clue what it is, what kind of potential the block-chain technology has and that there is potential to make some cash with it.

But wait until they do.... We're gonna need a bigger space-ship.

t. alberto barbosa newfriend

Correct. While you may be seeing more news articles on Bitcoin hit main stream, the normie/boomer fucks still have no idea what it actually is. These people just hear this Bitcoin buzzword and think nothing further of it. Most of these articles still use photos of physical Bitcoins for fuck sake.
Interestingly, the countries with the highest relative search query interest in Bitcoin are Nigeria, Ghana, Estonia, Slovenia, and South Africa in that order. Poor third worlders trying to hit it rich or scam people?

Buy DGB

That's not an answer. Which one will make me a millionaire with $1000? I didn't deny there won't be growth. Read my OP again.

I've put in about 15k since December in 500-1000 increments. Mostly BTC, eth, etc with a few thousand in others I move around in pumps. Was sitting near 75k before last week, was at 120k at peak, now at 95k (cashed out 7.5k USD when BTC hit 2750 on coinbase). Set up btc limit buys in small increments from 1990 down to 1450 with the 7.5k and already picked some up from the dip. Figure it will even out around 2200 in a couple of weeks.

this board needs flags. in a couple weeks we've gone from experienced traders discussing the market to peasants begging and babbling about losing $5. disgusting.

Read the book Zero to One and you'll understand why it is too late for your plan.

the next thing won't be cryptos.

But there will be a next things

>he hasnt bought MOON

I got you, fampai. It stands for:
>L U R K M O A R
>U
>R
>K

>M
>O
>A
>R

I'm balls deep in ETH and BTC.
60% of me is made of crypto.

If it 6x I'm a millionaire.
But, well, it won't 6x.

>you'll still need at least $60k now to become rich.
Not true at all this is a paradigm shift.

>The next coin to make a million off of with a $1k investment hasn't been created yet
How the fuck do you know?

Bitcoin WAS a shitcoin when it came out. The original reward for mining a block was 50 btc

$10,000 of ETH @ 15

666ETH

$146,530 at its ATH of $220 per ETH

The Ethereum Network hasn't even been completed and fully deployed.

>CHUST VAIT

I'd trade 1 potato for 1 LTC

You got skin in the game. You're going to make it.

A paradigm shift at this point requires a large investment still.

>A paradigm shift at this point requires a large investment still.
Do you realize 8bil humans are about to be brought online by leap fogging land lines and banks? Think about how fast hong kong modernized.

buy the dips; sell the tips

>The Ethereum Network hasn't even been completed and fully deployed.

i was going to put $2,000 in crypto, should i do 50 / 50 between BTC and ETH or just do 100% ETH?

I was thinking $1,800 ETH and $200 BTC (funny money to trade), even if bitcoin doubles it's not much for me, but i dont see a reason technologically why ETH doesnt have more value than BTC in the long run.

So which coin will turn $1000 to $1 million then? So many poorfag soothsayers.

Possibly humaniq. Possibly ETC. Possibly waves.

How much you got invested with your mommy's allowance?

I wouldn't chase ETH at this point. You would be better of investing in ETC or some of the dapps of the ether network. BTC is the defacto reserve currency so if you are getting into crypto always have some.

And you should really consider doing alot more research.

I became a millionaire from cryptocurrency without investing anything except time and effort. There are a lot of gains to be made in this field with investing though, so I don't see why someone couldn't make it to lamboland starting with < $60k

When did you invest? That's an important question. It's like investing in Amazon 20 years ago versus now.

if you put $60,000 into ETH at $5 and sold it all at $180 you'd have over 2 million

ETH has way more developers, way more corperate interest, the Etherium Foundation has like 500million in assets and the best talent. Fucking Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, Toyota, Huwei, Intel, Deloite, San Fran Stock Exchange, BP are just a few of the big names in the Entreprise Etherium Alliance. Kik is building a token system that will be accessed by 300 million users. Second largest chinest exchange Huobi is adding ETH trading on the 31st, and they did like 217 million 24 hour volume when that article was written. First global blockchain conference in china in 2 weeks, Vitalik will be speaking (He knows chinese now also).

Looking at the subreddit stats, /r/ethereumclassic has literally 7 people browsing it right now. Fucking 7. /r/etctrader has 8 people active.
Meanwhile on the ETH side, /r/ethtrader has 2,873 active and /r/ethereum has 983 active.

Like, maybe ETC will be good for pump and dump, and personally I don't mind either way, I'm holding ETH obviously, but man I just don't see how people can see ETC having any future except in the sense that all crypto is probably going to creep upwards despite the cycles of crashes and coins dying off. There's just nothing happenining on the ETC side. Have a look at the ETC reddits and its a circlejerk of people telling each other people are going to run from ETH to ETC, its utterly delusional.

>When did you invest?
I didn't. I've been involved in cryptocurrency for a few years now though

I put $20000 into bitcoin back in 2011 and I'm a millionaire now. It's just that easy to be a millionaire. why haven't you done it yet?

Well you work for your money so congrats.

Proofs?

blocked out some extra digits just in case

Should still be trivial to locate your address with the digits you provided. Nice stack though

880 btc and you still take pictures with a fucking potato...

maybe, its spread over many many addresses though, but theoretically it's possible.

such is life

>its spread over many many addresses though
You're good then as long as you didn't send them all from a single address or something

what kind of slack jawed faggot would keep all his buttcoins in one place?

Why would you have multiple cold storage wallets rather just one secure wallet backed up in several different places?

apple started from a garage

>trivial

Hahahahhahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahaha

Please never post in another crypto thread

which do you think would make it more difficult to rob you of your buttcoins?

emp's man...

E M P's

>what is BTC pizza day
investment of two pizzas = 27mil 7 years later

Yeah, I think long term, hodlers will make it. But hey, I agree, put more in and eventually buy dan bilzerian's house after he auctions it off

it's complicated. there are backup seeds you can write down, etc. but at the end of the day, it's just what you are comfortable with.
