question for Veeky Forums

What was the world's most dominant empire?

You may choose any reason you like, from total area, religious influence, etc.

(In my opinion, one of the world's most dominant empires was the British. Feel free to debate with me.)

It'd have to be Britain 1814-1914 or the Mongols.

Britain or Spain or France.

agreed and agreed.

The roman-catholic church

Leave me a (you) if anyone agrees with me.

1. Roman
2. British
3. Modern America

Bosnia

Britain.

Pre-ice age Finland.

...

It's a torch passing game and might is relative to time.

The Greece and Rome of their days

The British. The world's hegemon is literally a British coloney, and would fight tooth and nail for poppy.

If it was beitian, then why couldn't they win 1 (one) world War by themselves?

They never had to?

They were called into every world war by an ally

Real life is not a grand strategy game you dumb American retard

>Feel free to debate with me

Where did my statement imply that?

90s US was far more dominant and of course rome
While British empire was largest empire ever and factory of the world, it always had rivals that could rival it (first france, then germany and at last US).

>brits

this eternal anglo think hes got big dick in comparison to the MONGOLS!

>le greece to amerifat's rome may may XD

If that the case, then why hasn't it taken over the other?

Most of the US's power comes from its economy, and let's it ambitions for dominance be faulted by countries with very little in natural resources in comparison. America is simply terrible at exerting it's dominance on the world, and in that respect, it will never be like Rome for as long as this continues.

>when a nigga just dont get it

uk is literally little america

t. never visited the uk
