How do you faggots even make money then? I know for a fact that some of you don't have more than 1k to gamble with on these shitcoins and i've seen people saying they turned $50 into 3k over time. Is this all bullshit or what

Not through daytrading as the fees would eliminate lots of the profit. Anyone who made 50x+ gains from a small investment just bought early and hodl

If you're just having fun, you can keep an eye on the PnDs here. I'd say set aside 20% for possible quick swing trades, but take what you read here with a grain of salt. Sometimes they take a few days to develop, sometimes they never develop and you're stuck bagholding.

I like to pick 4-5 coins I like from the top 10-25 on Coinmarketcap, but others will day trade in just one currency and play in the volatility. Just keep in mind that no matter what you do, you will be paying big fees percentage-wise because you don't have a large pool to play with.

That statement is true, I will be earning that much solely off my business in less than a year. Hence the reason i'm looking for side ventures.

So this is going to be your issue is you append too much time on Veeky Forums: 5% is really respectable, but people here will always say "lol faggit I made four trillion percent returns while I watched futaporn on mute so my mom wouldn't hear me."

But here's the thing - you can make 5% a week without getting too obsessed or greedy. My biggest failure was letting crypto - less than 2% of my assets - take up 98% of my investment attention.

My best suggestion would be to enter positions and set sell orders ahead of time, or at least price alerts with blockfolio. It's easy to miss a price spike or dip overnight. My other advice would be to set the bill of your income in the coming months in more traditional investment vehicles. You can access BTC through some hedge funds and ETFs, specifically Ark funds (ARKW).

Crypto is fun. Have fun. Don't invest amounts you'll lose sleep over, and you'll be fine. You're right. Almost no one here knows what they're doing. There isn't much difference between what Veeky Forums does (or purports to do) and betting on a random walk simulation in R.
