Apparently he gave quite a bit of money to the family for education, keeping quiet, etc, but my great-grandparents died within a year of each other whilst my granddad was still young so his share of the inheritance was entrusted to his older brother, who literally fucked off to the US and was never seen again.. My granddad was brought up by his nanny and he became an ordinary working guy. The only photos we have are polaroid and they're at my mother's unfortunately.

My favourite thing about it though is the likeness between Edward and my granddad, which make pictures like this seem great.
