Pandacoin has a quality block explorer. That's usually a good sign. Richlist doesn't look too concentrated and 12% of coins are staking which is pretty good for a coin that was mostly forgotten.

The dev should do a coin swap. I bet a lot of people lost track of their wallets after Pandacoin went inactive for so long. A coin swap would reduce the official coin supply and probably increase the price.

Whitecoin just did one. Basically the devs create a new blockchain using new software. Existing coinholders send in their old coins which are then swapped with the new coins. As I recall Whitecoin did it because the old wallet software was becoming too hard to maintain.

um in terms of wallet recovery if you don't have your wallet.dat you can maybe get your funds if you have your private keys.

If your wallet is corrupted there are ways to extract the private keys from it, I've done it before with a corrupted reddcoin wallet.
