This was made in response to the Bavarian Soviet Republic seizing power and the German army being powerless to stop them, so the Bavarians formed their own army which the old German Empire entitled them the right to do, and took back Munich.

After Germany was unable to pay it's debts the French and Belgians occupied the Rhine, and with them brought many African soldiers which this was made in response too.

Woops that was another recruitment poster for the Munich regiment. This is the poster I was talking about.

That last one was about the plebicite vote for which nation Northern Silesia would go too, and the Poles are shown as this Asian skull with a Cossack hat.

"Let us pray that Silesia will stay German"

And that cross was only added since the French favored the Poles and would tear down German posters, so they made it a prayer poster in a 100% Catholic area thinking that not even the French would tear down an icon.
