For that to hold true, Ethereum has to rise by less than 1% on average every day. That means any day that it goes up by more than 3% or so, a correction is coming.

(The math of doubling, for anyone who forgets... take the daily gain (say 3% per day gain) and divide through 72. a 3% per day gain means the value doubles in 24 days.
