Is this the greatest philosopher and theologian of the 20th century?

He has practically destroyed atheism and tore apart Nietzsche's arguments.

>>He has practically destroyed atheism
No he hasn't.

>>and tore apart Nietzsche's arguments
Oh boy, shitstorm in 3..2..1

he is pretty good but i wouldn't go far as to say he's the best philosopher. he makes a great case for christianity and objective morality though.

No.

He wrote some good children's books though.

Yes. He's up there with Sproul, Zecharias and Charles Lawson.

>Men have preferences for certain things therefore objective morality therefore God
Literally a meme

Strawman.

C.S Lewis isn't even the best children's author of the 20th century.

Explain to me how it's a strawman then.

Thanks for that link, great content.

"By exaggerating, misrepresenting, or just completely fabricating someone's argument, it's much easier to present your own position as being reasonable, but this kind of dishonesty serves to undermine honest rational debate."

I put it in silly words but it's still pretty much the exact arguments he uses.

This. Tolkien was.

Is Lewis's trilemma the most retarded of all Christian apologetic arguments?

You mean young adult author?

For some reason the only people I've ever encountered that think C.S Lewis was a particularly great philosopher were already Christians before they read C.S Lewis.

Yes.

Everytime a "spook" shitposter appears, I link the CSLewisDoodle channel to him.

There is an objective morality, a universal law.

And the only people I've encountered that think Nietzsche was a great philosopher were atheists.

Funny how that works huh?

Yes.

It's starting to seem like people latch onto philosophers to justify beliefs they already had then make shitty threads.

But it's about looking at the actual arguments without letting cognitive dissonance get in the way.

>arguing with somebody on issues of faith

Fuck off, it's pointless.

>philosophy is faith

It's not, but people are so fucking stubborn it is ridiculous.

>The Necessity of Chivalry
>Why I'm not a Pacifist
>Bulverism

Those are fucking great. Gonna bookmark that channel and check out all the rest of the videos.

even believing in existence of Australia is faith

I thought Nietzsche was a great thinker back when I was Christian, even though I disagreed with him.

He is certainly a higher caliber thinker than Louis

I'm an atheist and I think Nietzsche is just an edgelord.

You = anecdotal evidence
Fuck off

I'm an edgelord and I think Nietzsche is based so you might have a point.

>needing theology and theologians to have faith
>taking C.S. Lewis serious on anything
>implying that 'tearing up arguments' is in any way important when it comes to faith

You have no stinking clue what faith is, do you?

>this is what theists believe
Embarrassing.
