Not the original commenteer but I'm selling enough of a portion to make back what I put in, and then letting the rest sit.
To each their own, but the way I see it is if I dump x into crypto and then it all crashes then I lose x. If it hits x+t and I take x back out, then I lose nothing, t is just fun money.
You forfeit those potential winnings but it guarantees no loss. As long as the crash isn't too big, at this point I'll still probably double my investment
