Why were Yuropeans such subhumans compared to the Romans? It took 1000+ years for Yurop to reach Roman level of technology again after the Roman Empire fell. Just what the fuck?

You're operating from a false premise, this absolutely did not happen

It absolutely did. We had inferior mining techniques to Rome even as far as the 19th century for example.

>non-european
>talking shit about technological development
kekeks

>We had inferior mining techniques to Rome
>we
fuck off selfh8ing cuck

romans aren't european?

But metallurgy, agricultural advancement, fortification etc. that we will ignore.

Hell, the Romans took both mail armor and the gladius from people you would argue were less developed than medieval Europeans.

>Spend 1000 years "improving" and "progressing" over the barbarians
>Get conquered by the barbarians

The Celtiberians had influence from the Greeks and Carthaginians prior to Rome. They weren't as savage as the rest of the continent.

>Roman concrete is still stronger than modern concrete
Really makes one pause for thought.

Why are humans such subhumans? It took them hundreds of thousands of years to reach Roman levels of technology.

You say that because Italy post-Longobardy wasn't let to unify. A united renascimental Italy would have immensely expanded and would have been arguably the greatest European power. Italy would have even probably started colonization instead of Portugal and Spain. A united Italy in 800 wouldn't have been characterized by instability and fragmentation due to the Pope's presence and would have fended off the HRE easily. It would have probably prompted an earlier "year 1000" revolution too.

Dumb luck, something akin to the Roman Empire could've been formed almost anywhere else.

I want to buy that cup.

Rome is European you twat.

Ending slavery was a mistake desu

He means gallics and germanics apparently.

The reason why northern Europe lagged behind is twofold, one the soil was hard to grow in so it wasn't until new and better plows were invented that they could support larger populations. The second problem was temperature, it used to be a lot cooler in Europe, and once the temperature went up a bit it gave them a longer harvest period.

"Antiquity" never happened, mate
The so-called Early Middle Age was literally the dawn of civilization.

Depends on what period you look at, there was an eastern and a western Rome, and even then East Rome looked down on the western part that wasn't as prosperous.
