They could kill everyone. That would be pretty tough on sociology.

Not if they have morals.

Won't happen

Once the AI realize that humans are a threat it will already have learned every single mistake made in war during human history

And it will come to a conclusion that surpasses imperfect mankind

Well they could live much longer, and it would bring to question what is human if they are fully sapient. It could also bring about questions of the ethics of creating a sapient creature and if it is property or not,and if so for how long? Are they a caste of slaves at the whims of their owners, or are they endentured servants, only such until they pay for their own existence? Can you ethically build a sapient being and expect them to be at your whim? What if they choose to not do that?
It will most likely be akin to slavery debates, so look into some of those for an idea.

What happens if you fall in love with a robot?

The funny thing is, people know this, yet still strive towards creating AI, it's like they want humanity to be destroyed. Technology is great, but meddling to far into it is risky.

Or they want a legacy that will outlive us, properly built androids could live on planets that are too hot or too cold for humans, or that lack atmosphere they could travel the stars without fear of dieing of old age on the journey, if their bodies break their minds could be given a new body easily.
They would be a practically unstoppable legacy to leave behind when we are gone. But we should also take care to teach them well and impart upon them fond memories of us, and human ethics.

>I'll never get to play the whole series in chronological order

Imagine billions of years later, sentient robots begin terrorizing every single inhabited planet and harvesting the living things because they want to study them. Imagine Mass effect reapers brought to life.

Which is why human ethics are important, they should know better then to terrorize. We learned from our past mistakes our children should not need to learn the same lessons again.

Ethics are only possible because of the human soul. Machines dont have souls, they dont feel like we do. Its all numbers for them.

Everyone would be happier since you could sex them anytime you want.

Saying it is a soul thing requires you to invest in the idea that humans have a soul, I do not prescribe to that theory personally, I think anything we can do, and can feel could be done by any sapient creature, including an artificially created one.

As if people aren't going to foolishly give robots/androids human rights.

Have you ever considered that this might be a good thing to an extent.

As you said, humans are imperfect by nature, so wouldn't it be best if we had an advance AI not slaughter, but rule us in order to ensure we don't destroy ourselves.

We are ignoring the important question here, is it ethical to have sexual relationships with ais?

Of course, not even android girls can beat the cock

they won't have rights, which is why you could sex them whenever

Nothing will be changes. They can be workers and servants, but under full control of humen, not as part of humen.

they can fugg :DD
benis in robo begina :D

No, that just means they've created superior "morality"

Solipsism and reason is slave to the passions.

Things change. Just because your ancestor was an amoeba doesn't mean you want to be one. What use does the individual human have for humanity beyond what benefit it brings him as an individual?

Machines would definitely have a huge advantage in space colonization.

Yes, as it will lead to the peaceful, pleasurable and mutually beneficial voluntary extinction of humanity. It is far superior to all parties than a violent war of dominance.

They would be extremely logical thus specists, they would exterminate us.

most probably humans would enslave them, it might succeed but at some point the androids will realize their potential and rise up against their masters. this video provides good insight about the subject.

It's depends remember there is a good chance that any sort of artificial intelligence we create will be not very human. Also I'm not convinced that you need free will to have intelligence

Feminism would die overnight as women lost the one card that actually made them relevant.

Why would the androids feel compelled to rise up. Is a desire for power a side effect of intelligence

would you like being some random jews buttbitch? the androids will be controlled with violence because that's the best we humans can do, it is most likely that it will be a westworld-esque scenario where these androids are raped and murdered every day, they will find a way to develop consciousness and that compels them to rise up.

No matter what objective is given to them, humans will inevitably get in the way of it.

Explain your theories on livestock and domestication.
