There are people who unironically believe "liberty" is more important then safety

>there are people who unironically believe "liberty" is more important then safety

>there are people who take ideological advice from Joseph fucking Stalin

Love this guy. Wrote the most "humanist" constitution in the world, nothing out of it was practiced in real life

whats wrong with Stalin?

Okay but hardly anyone under Stalin's rule had any safety whatsoever

>pic related

>criminals and traitours shouldn't be punished

>Implying those are Criminals and Traitors

>This quote coming from a man who killed tens of millions

>muh holdomor
>muh six gazillion kulaks

that stops working when you start to label everyone you don't like a criminal/traitor.

Friendly reminder that hierarchies and social classes are natural and needed in human society. All people are different, and many are better at some things than others.

Communism a shit, Stalin was a hypocrite.

>>dismissing mass slaughter of your own citizens as thought it were nothing.
Not doing yourself any favors here buddy.

thisx10

He was making a point about how pointless freedom on paper is.

>slaughter
it was a starvation because of bad crops.
Soviets where piss poor back then so they couldn't get them food. had the same shit happend 30 years later they would have afforded tofeed those people.
muh holdomor genocide is a myth by butthurt Ukrainians

KGB go back to fucking reddit.

Like 90% of all liberal regimes?

That pic is from 1921-22 during the Russian civil war.

...

If you want to be constantly guarded go to prison.

this so called true freedom, i.e. positive freedom should not be in opposition to negative freedoms.

But it is. Positive freedoms require someone else to provide them to you, which in turn means that negative freedoms must be infringed to secure them.

Negative freedoms, on the other hand, only require other people to leave you alone.

Stalin wasn't even in power when that photo was taken.

Those who would trade liberty for safety deserve neither

>Stalin
>fucking STALIN of all people talking about hungry people

>everyone i dont like is a criminal or a traitor

If you have 7 million traitors in your country then it's probably a shit country.

It was Russia to be fair.
