Fags
I'm already rich
I work 20 days a month
I make about 2000 each day

10 days a month I am just at home.

I have had a good run with ETH, BTC, and LTC since earlier this year.

But I made 1,000 into 10,000.

That's nice. 9k profit. But that's not shit for the stress and time and risk. I make a guaranteed 2000 going to my job for a day.

What to invest in and leave for a year or two? Day trading effort doesn't beat my salary unless I dramatically increase risk.

I want to drop 10k-20k in some coins and let that shit site for a year or two.

What does my portfolio look like?

buy bitcoin and stfu LARPer

What work do you do?

Buy STRAT.

Contract hospitalist
I go in and do a 12 hour shift for 170-200/hr
I work 10 on and 5 off usually

The preferred vasoporessor in the undifferentiated patient is levophed titrated to a MAP of 65. What else you want to know bitchmade?

Similar situation here. I'm a dermatologist. I make $420,000/year before taxes, which comes out to about $200/hour since I work 45 hours per week and get 6 weeks vacation...

So, like OP, I cant afford to sit around and monitor every little pump and dump. What are some good long term holds?

Eth

Just drop it in ETH and forget about it

Buying ETH now.

Go 80% ETH. 10% ICN 10% GNT

ARK, STRAT, QRL

>But that's not shit for the stress and time and risk. I make a guaranteed 2000 going to my job for a day.
>stress and risk

You only invested 1k and claim to make 2k a day. If that's stressful just stick to wagecucking

Is it even possible to make 5-10k a year passively without having 100k+ in money to invest? Say 5 years and 1000 dollars, how far could biz make that grow?
I've been looking into various forms of investment. I want to make money at home.
Not sure about buttcoin. I kick myself for ignoring it when it was ground floor. I could be a millionaire right now but I feel like most of the growth is done. I've heard of people trading it for small bits of dosh but I don't know how they do it.
I'd settle for 5k a year. Can it be done with any form of investment? Most investments I see only put 5% interest, maybe 10% a year. Any other investment thats more is usually so risky its basically a casino.

>What to invest in and leave for a year or two?
>I want to drop 10k-20k in some coins and let that shit site for a year or two.
>What does my portfolio look like?

Real advice: Wait a couple years. We're in the second-longest bull market in history. The majority of profit to be made has already gone down the road.

If you want to invest, keep the majority liquid for when things tumble so that you can get maximum ROI. If you don't want it to be stressful, consider hiring someone to manage your investments professionally.

>mfw someone that earns more than 200 000 a year is only looking to invest 10%
>so they can buy a porsche or a vacation home in a nascent failed state
>when frugal spending and smart investment could essentially guarantee their great-grandchildren have a paid ride through college

user, you're problem is you make all this money. Yet you have none.

Is that you? The douche burning cash desperately trying to look cool.

You get stress from maybe losing 10000?
You start an investment with 1000?

What are you're savings user?
You're a wagecuck brainwashed away in this rat race society.

With that wage you should've had a hundred grand laying around to invest in crypto and you would have a million now.

Though luck.

Live and Learn.

Also learn about the exponential function.
It's worth to invest.

I made 80k in 3 months on a 20k investment other anons have done even better

So you work 5 days a week and have weekends off?

>You get stress from maybe losing 10000?

time and energy following ups and downs not worth is is my point.
I walk out the door and in an hour I have 2000. I don't have a risk of losing that 2000.

>You start an investment with 1000?

Yes, I am not too proud to admit I didn't know wtf was going on so I started with 1000 to learn the market. Then I did well with it.

Better that than blindly throw it in shit coins like all the other dorks on here.

>What are you're savings user?

about 200k liquid
ignoring stocks and home equity

>You're a wagecuck brainwashed away in this rat race society.

I make a high income for my work output.
The value in crypto has to be a calculation of risk vs reward vs time

I literally make 6 times the average american family. Wage cuck? I'm trying to beat my wage.

>With that wage you should've had a hundred grand laying around to invest in crypto and you would have a million now.

I've got way more than that.

Do you usually just drop cash in on investments you don't understand because you heard about it?

Aren't we all complaining about the idiot new money right now thats going to get burned?
For all your trolling, you ignore that my simple job has outpaced 99.999999% on here or anywhere trading crypto. So I'm not stupid to try to find ways to beat my earnings for effort.

as above. 10 on 5 off.

You are a fucken moron. Learn to read faggot

15-20% is the most you can realistically expect from actual investments- not trading.

More than that would be the exception and isn't really sustainable without active management.

>15-20% is the most you can realistically expect from actual investments

That's a phenomenal beat over my lagging stocks at 6%

This is why cryptocurrencies are amazing. The return I'm having is absolutely insane. Most people wouldn't believe it if I told them. I'm 22 years old and already have around 500k worth in ETH/BTC and a few other coins.

when did you start though?

2013.

>work maybe 3 weeks a year
>make $6k-$10k a month from those 3 weeks work
I think I have it better than OP.

If you think illegal money and the Chinese will win, Bitcoin

If you think blind normie money scam ico's will stay here forever and will continue to pump money, Ethereum

If you think literally 75+ banks are going to win, Ripple

what do you do?

Most definitely.

That's amazing.

>Similar situation here. I'm a dermatologist. I make $420,000/year before taxes,

jesus christ, why would you study anything else than medicine in the US?

or better yet study it for free in the EU and then get a license in the US?

Software. Boring desktop software. No shiny apps. No web crap. Just plain old boring desktop software for boring people who have boring jobs.

I spend about 3 weeks updating and fixing the shit so people feel that it's "under active development" even though the core functionality hasn't changed for the past 5 years.

(I'm being a little dishonest here. The initial development took about half a year but that was a long time ago).

First of all, becoming a doctor is not for everyone. Most people can't even get in. Secondly, the loans are insanely high. Yes, doctors do have amazing incomes, but it isn't easy becoming a medic.

ha you're in gas how does it feel to be a surgeon's bitch and soon to be replaced by nurses that can do your primitive job?

also i'm a neurology resident and think i should have gone into software
i hate the hours and the work climate

Surgeon's bitch yes. I can't help that they forgot all their medicine and can't do anything but cut.

nurses? not a chance
The NPs have ruined their product with variability in the schooling. Pump and dump scam through the licensing bodies.
NPs have pathetic clinical hours and waste money on the back end by ordering too much shit - worse than interns by the studies lol

NPs came in and have already been run out of every hospital I work at except the large urban ones where they act as my scribes, since they can't be trusted to manage any real patients.

lol
3+3 education wtf

You will make less than me for 3 more years of training

Better get a midlevel and own an MRI machine. Otherwise quit with your IM board and just churn patients for contract
300-400k a year.

Any reccomendations for a new software dev who doesn’t want to wagecuck his whole life?

if you say so. truth is that anesthesia on a healthy person is so simple you don't need an md for it

not in the us so no debt and more interested in having a work life i can bear than in becoming super rich instead of rich. neurology is interesting.

although i reckon you can read books at work, that would be nice

where the fuck did you get that I was in anesthesia?
I'm not.

This is so legit. I study Medicine in Brazil and I feel like 90% of what we study is USELESS when we actually become doctors. I'm not kidding. Am I wrong?

Depends what you do.
Maybe brazil is shit tier.

I work as a general hospitalist and deal with complicated sick patients. I am always having to learn more than I ever learned in school or residency

I mean, when you go to residency I think this percentage would be much higher. But I have this cousin who is an orthopedist and he told me the first two years of Med School (it's 6 years here) are pretty much useless, except for Anatomy.

because i said ha you're in gas and you went with it

depends on what you do after studying. i always hated the feeling of learning lots of stuff i'll never need again. it's stamp collecting. but during residency you'll have to re-learn a lot of it in a much higher level of detail so doing well while in school is probably good

wards teach you medicine.
years 1 and 2 teach you to pass exams. from my experience in med school so far

...

Business owner here.
You have enough on your plates. Dollar cost average into VOO or similar. Set it and forget it. Seriosuly, forget it. Then just give it some time.

Invest a fixed proportion then worry about enjoying life.

>because i said ha you're in gas and you went with it

So you quote my post where I say specifically what I do and accuse me of being in something else?
The hell is wrong with you.

>Dollar cost average into VOO or similar.

This is the kind of plan, just tryign to find the best vehicle.

I'll just set my phone alarm every 1 week and drop a little more.

I've been averaging 14.7% since 2010.

Everyone says to try and not time the market on 'buy and hold' vehicles like ETFs, but right now seems like a scary time to jump in. Stocks just seem way overpriced. I'd like to see a nice pullback before dumping some cash in. Thoughts?
