21st century.

Depends on how viable space travel is.

And this goes without saying, but if this is the century we finally kill all of the Germans it will go down in history as a good one.

Coming up:
>war with Islam
>war with North Korea etc
>creation/collapse of European superstate
>rise of AI, perhaps

>north korea
>relevant at all
If anything China will bring them down when they become more trouble than what they're worth to them.

Germany is blessed by God. It will exist forever, because God loves Germans. They are the pinnacle of creation.

There wasn't really any "progress". All the technological innovations don't amount to anything if they aren't used for a particular purpose. And their only purpose was to make a profit for the people who invented, manufactured and sold them. Technological innovation is the "mirage" or "optical illusion" that is feeding the myth of "progress". In fact the West has been stagnating for at least the last 100 years.
>Geographical expansion stopped
>Birthrates steadily declining
>We stopped exploring space
All that we have to look forward to in the 21st century is more of the same, more stagnation, more corporations inventing products that you "need" to own, more taxation and wealth re-distribution. Everyone wants to eat, but no one wants to produce food. The earth can only support so many people, and when people start seeing childbirth as a "side thing", or secondary to their "career" or their "calling", the population levels start declining. With no real reason to live, religions and cults become more and more popular. Increasing civil unrest means governments are forced to employ more and more police to keep the population in check. Eventually everyone becomes so alienated and disgusted with their lives that they start doing crazy stuff, and it's Euromaidan all over again, on a global scale this time. Throw in a terrorist group detonating a nuclear bomb in some metropolis and you got a real shitstorm brewing
