Look at this picture. This is a flyer about foreign workers. It looks for employer. It says ''We can escape from shortage of workers by employing foreign workers!! About 150 thousands of them are working in Japan!!'' ''We can hire them minimum wage(about $7 per hour and no chips)'' ''They have to pay for their own rent utility bills'' ''THEY WON'T TAKE A BREAK FROM WORK!! THEY'RE WILLING TO OVER TIME WORK AND HOLIDAY WORK!!''
I want to let you guys know about Japan's horrible labor environment. They're thinking workers are like slave. Additionally they're forcing it for foreign people. We have to blame Japanese labor environment.
Grayson Hill
are you japanese? I thought it was very difficult to get a work visa in japan. also who would be able to compete with japanese workers? you guys work yourselves to death
James Harris
>They're thinking workers are like slave
luckily the chinese arent human
Lincoln Peterson
Only immigrants can make Japan great again.
Jacob Morales
Fractional reserve banking is a global ponzi scheme at the trillion dollar level that only works if you constantly have new people (more children or immigrants) taking on loans. People+government taking loans allows for imaginary growth rates to be posted which stimulates spending (even though no growth has occured) and improves standard of living in the short term.
Japan chose to stop the ponzi scheme by not having children and not importing immigrants, and they are paying the price.
We are all slaves, just some people haven't realized it yet.
Leo Harris
Yes i'm from Japan. i don't know about visa in detail but some country like China or Philippine's people are receiving some assistance from Japanese government. And let them in Japan and ''use'' them like slave. It is OK only Japanese people die from over working but it must not be forced to other country people i think
Jose Martin
yes we are slaves. but slaves should be treated as ''human'' if slaves are treated like garbage , they'll die immediately and employer will suffer from shortage of people
Hudson Campbell
its worth to mention that the majority of those 150.000 foreigners are chinese and koreans. Whites are actually a minority there .
Blake Ross
Exactly. Most of foreign workers are from China Indonesia Vietnam Korea or some Asian countries. White people are distinguished from those min wage works. In my opinion this is definitely Racism
Eli Lopez
Japanese literally have a word for working to death which is "Karoshi". Some sick fucks. It's also considered impolite and generally bad if you leave from work before your boss/coworkers. Many sleep in office when they miss the last train, etc.
In spite of that, it might come as a surprise that Japan is actually not that much productive. Companies there are not as fast paced as you would expect given the workload. They are simply too stressed out and too phased away from reality to be creative, which greatly cuts productivity. The best working environments in Japan (i.e most productive) actually have to force their employees to take days off and to leave office at the right time. I don't know what makes these people so focused that they literally walk into their deaths like ants, but if they do that to themselves, imagine to those they consider inferior.
Grayson Peterson
There is a slow change to better work environments in Japan, but it is a very slow change. The Japanese hold on to tradition strongly, but that isn't ever going to change.
One of the main draw cards for tourism is that very fact, that a lot of traditions haven't been forgotten, but that does come with negatives as well.
Jason Gomez
The Japanese are some of the most racist people i have ever met, albiet not always in a direct form
Kevin Flores
>Racism
Get these faggot ideas out of your head and have some pride that your country isn't a multicult shithole.
Not surprised the pigs at the top of Japan arent happy with just fleecing japanese anymore
Jose Robinson
Japan is one of the greatest countries on Earth.
Stop drawing attention to it. Leave them alone and let them live how they want.
Austin Nelson
The biggest problem is management in japanese companies. You work 2x as long and get less done than other countries. To me it looks like it's the fault of the post ww2 generation, they adopted the bad habits of american companies but still want all the perks the previous generation of managers and leaders enjoyed. Meanwhile they expect employees to act like nothing changed when they don't enjoy the same loyalty from the companies they work at.
Chase Morgan
I'm sorry to hear about this, OP. I've heard that it's difficult to be a foreign worker in Japan.
Brayden Butler
i do have a pride and loving my country. BUT this working environment situation is objectively looking crazy and it has some kind of Racism
Nathaniel Parker
Your racist is unwanted in Japan.
Blake Perry
i don't know in detail but i've heard that some Asian countries are receiving assistance from Japanese government. Maybe white people are out of the assistance
I probably completely fucked up the 働いて grammar, was just guessing.
Connor Russell
You're supposed to use ha as wa when using it as a particle
Eli Ward
What i want to say is Japanese are treating foreign people as slaves. nationalitycitizenship is not quite important. Anyway your Japanese is great :)
Dylan Reyes
To do what they did in WWII racism would have to be embedded deep within their cultural psyche.
3000 years of culture doesn't change in 80 years.
Noah Hall
You are a good Japanese man. I think many Japanese have a secret disdain for Chinese people and I don't think anything will change.
Cameron Sullivan
Japanese are racists. They treat foreign workers like slaves, and local workers like lesser slaves, but still slaves.
Wyatt Ross
But the flyer you showed doesn't talk about "Foreigners" in general, it specifies "Chinese and Vietnam workers" And it's true that they're subhuman slaves
Aiden Jackson
your english is also very nice
Jacob Gray
off topic but does anyone lnow an effective way to learn japanese?i want to become a translator
Im studying privately via textbook but i want to know what else i can do
Jordan Powell
Lul im guessing they're hoping to get chinese workers and not mudslimes or sub saharan africans
Christopher Evans
>immigrate to japan >die from overworking

Jaxon Miller
Thanks :) Maybe it is a truth. Very sad thing though...
Nathaniel Mitchell
OP YOU FUCKING CHINESE FUCK STOP DUMPING ANTSHARES YOU YELLOW CUNT
Eli Sanders

William Morgan
Thanks brother :)
Wyatt Sanders
Make conversion with Japanese people is the best way i think (but finding the Japanese who can speak English is difficult XD)
Julian Wilson
Yes I'm yellow but i am Japanese. don't use such a dirty words
Logan Ward

Japan's work culture is fucked up. Probably similar to korean and such. It's even worse than anywhere else. Hopefully a lot of people are aware of that. It's still possible to get a job that isn't slave-like in Japan but it's much more difficult.
Gabriel Russell
I think its only so hard for the Japs. No normal white person would stand for it, Ive sat in bars and fucking macfags are there doing stuff for work, it's ridiculous. Even at my hotel they were working 18 hours a day. There at breakfast and there when I went to bed.

what the fuck does sitting around at the office longer than 8 hours even produce?
i dont have more than a couple hours of work a day and the project gets finished on time
No fucking shit man. Let me guess: you're a sad weeaboo who moved to Japan because muh animooz but then realized too late that the culture is fucked.
Aaron Reyes
>also who would be able to compete with japanese workers? you guys work yourselves to death
A common misconception of the reality. While it is true that many japanese work in shitty contracts, the time you actually work is... "different".
A german is working from 8 ro 5, when you tell him. He will take his breaks and god forbid you tell him to do otherwise. He will make overtime, if the work needs it, but he will demand additional compensation for it. The work will be finished.
A french wants you to know the contract word by word. And if you stray away from what is inside of it, he will go on strike and most likely wreck the bureau while doing it. Work however will be finished, if it is within the contract.
A japanese however stays for 14 hours inside of the bureau. He will sleep 2 hours, watches football with his collegues for another two hours, talk to the hottie from accounting for another hour and take a break of one hour in between. Afterwards, he gets home and is complaining on how hard his day was because he had to travel 2 hours to get back home. The work however is indeed finished.
I dont want to badmouth japanese work ethics. But their definition of "work" is usually quite different from other countries and is overlapping with free time and socializing with collegues way more.
Dylan Young
You forgot the part you can't really leave the office because your superior is still in the office and you can't really go home because your superior asked you out for beer.
Camden Walker
>You forgot the part you can't really leave the office because your superior is still in the office and you can't really go home because your superior asked you out for beer.
Yeah, that also is a strange thing. But I saw this also in NY in some firms. Once I saw a intern collapse, because he worked through the night, not knowing that his boss were sleeping on the couch for this night. He pulled an all-nigher for no reason.

Christopher Rivera
そうした問題もありますよね。人道的にも血脈的にも良くないですよね。
Robert Miller
Oh I blame it OP, believe you me, I fucking blame it.
Cooper Rivera
i'm sorry to tell you but your guess is wrong. i'm born in Japan and grew up here. i noticed how fucked up Japanese labor environment recently because i'm young. i couldn't notice that because mass media didn't say these kind of things. Thanks to Internet development , i could finally realize the truth.
Owen Young
you need socialism fampai
Ryan Bailey
why do you think so?
Liam Torres
I would love to move to Japan because it's a safe country with a super low crime rate and the Japanese people that I've met at events and concerts have always been super nice. I also love that it has near enough every type of climate so you get the best of everything. Tropical beaches in the summer & ski resorts up north in the winter.
However I would only ever move there if I was financially independent because the work culture in Japan is fucked up.
Ayden Sanchez
so people get decent wages and lower work hours. Either that or force everyone to have kids
Eli Long
I wish i could make my own nation where peopl are all maximized for their proeuctivity while still keeping a certain quality of living bt finding an overlap in enjoying their work.
David Foster
Totally agree. Living Japan is great but working here is nightmare.
Gavin Barnes
Understood. Actually Japan is close to socialism already. Government is collecting money and distribute it through the pension system. It's socialism more like democracy isn't it?
Brayden Howard
Worked really well for Germany, England, Sweden .... especially Sweden. Now they are first!....oh wait.
Christopher Ramirez
They're not working 18 hours/day.
They're just at the office that long.
Adrian Thompson
that's a capitalist welfare state bro
Ian Robinson
I saw a documentary about pensioners in Japan and how many are not even receiving their pensions that they are entitled too. Even the ones that do get their pensions, they are struggle to get by because the pensions were designed for when multiple generations lived in the same home.
Now because people leave home much sooner, the old folks are having a hard time. Also due to the rapidly aging population the government is under a lot of pressure and hasn't really found a solution to solve this problem yet.
I wonder how they will deal with this issue.
Sebastian Turner
yes you are right. i was short of studying. Sorry for that.
Aiden Sanchez
That's important problem too. I'm scared of thinking when i got old. I think just ''living'' will be quite difficult. We may be in turning point...
Bentley Collins
Indeed I feel the same way about where I live (England), I'm hoping that my cryptocurrency investments can free me from that worry over the next few years. I would like to earn enough to move to a country where living costs are cheaper so I could live more comfortably.
