they didn't understand that Jap Autism is also >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Chink autism

The Germans thought that they were going to end up at war with the US anyway, might as well as get an ally to distract the US if so

Strong horse

Germany declared war on the U.S. first in 1941, so no, the Germans did that on their own.

you're getting ahead of yourself there. What OP is talking about is the extensive support Nazi Germany gave to the Nationalist government in the 1930s. The Germans gave the Chinese munitions and also provided generals to train the Chinese army and help crush the communists. When germany and japan made their alliance this aid then stopped and then you have the Second-Sino Japanese war starting in 1937.

Because Hitler liked dogs but subhuman chinks like to eat dogs because they have no soul.

Because Hitler was a moron

Also most SIno-German cooperation took place under Weimar

>they didn't understand that Jap Autism is also >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Chink autism

Are you sure?

Because Hitler was a weeb. He liked the honorable warlike culture of the Japanese and its concept of a semi-divine emperor.

He didn't know shit about geopolitics and picked his allies based on ideology rather than on who would be useful to him in WWII.

The reason why he included Japan in Anti-cominterne and Tripartite pact was because he hoped they would attack the Soviet Union from behind. Japan only poked Soviet defences in 1938 and 1939, finally deciding it's not worth it and focusing their ambitions elsewhere.

So...why did Germany do that?

What is that supposed to be

China was falling apart when Japan invaded.

Can someone please explain this photo? Where there Chinese Hitlerjugend members? Was this just a camp for German Hitlerjugend members who are visiting China? The wikipedia article barely says anything about the picture

Google leads to this.

The US were supplying Germany's enemies from the very beginning. They were already at war with Germany.

>Why did Germany abandon China for Japan
Japan was a regional power with one of the most modern navies in the world and had a reputation for defeating Russia decisively in battle.

China, was barely unified and undergoing a civil war with an army that would have preformed badly in 1914 let alone 1939. Even had it its civil war in a timley fashion (certainly doable) it would have been in no position to assist in the War against Russia even if it had wanted to, likewise there was no way in hell that China would have gone against the Allies whom it depended much more on economically.

Putting your money on Japan was the only reasonable choice at that stage unless for some reason Hitler decided to go to war in the 60s

>who didn't help it and dragged it into war with the US?

That outcome wasnt really apparent at that stage to anyone let alone Hitler.

Soviet Union did the same thing

Because they'd rather have semi-competent Japan on their side rather than pants-on-head China.

They thought Japan could invade far eastern Russia for it while it invaded Russia, a timed attack.
Also Japan had a somewhat similar government to Germany at the time

Well both the Nationalists and the Nazis were anti-communist, so naturally Germany wanted to help China. Chiang Kai-Shek also like fascism and had his own "blue shirts" paramilitary group, among other things. It's also why China has a good relationship with fascist Italy. iirc mussolini outfitted the chinese with aircraft and other weapons.
You also have to realize that the Nazi and Japanese alliance was not inevitable; just as the Italian's pact with Hitler is something we shouldn't take for granted.

a news article about the Chinese aircraft carrier entering the south China sea for new years

not sure how it relates tho
