I've seen guys on here who bought $20k worth of Sia when it was cheap as dirt, and is now a millionaire. If someone had put $2,000 into Stratis a year ago, they'd be worth well over $1 million. So how does one find these coins with promise?

i mean you can make a safe(r) bet if you can vet their dev teams, but you have to realize that anything that indicates "potential" will immediately be bought. strat and sia are shitcoins, but once in a while they will pop because of rumors.
VIA and SYS were shilled here and they look alright. but again lets come back to the fact that most people building these things just want a quick cash grab and/or something on their resume. you can easily make double your money every month if you just nibble on the quick increases and sell the news, anything else is a gamble and you'll be stressed out whether or not to sell at 5x, 10x, etc. when your money has just been sitting around doing nothing for a while before that.

i wouldn't call it a system, i just think there's a good chance that something will increase when people start talking about it, usually before some event. i sell before the event. i have limit orders at like 10 or 15% below when it's starting to stabilize. i know that if there is a crash, there will always be a bounce or a recovery, i assume some conservative bounce and watch for a decent opportunity.
i don't really bother with finding coins or super low volume stuff. it's easy to get in the green right now and start to think you have skills/talent/luck, but nothing justifies the value of any of these technologies, especially when people start offering 10 times more for a piece of it within days. i think you'd find casinos more fun to be honest with a mentality that you NEED big numbers for your delta. i get paranoid as fuck if i don't go back to btc/ltc/usd fairly quickly and find the next cycle.
