We talk about how different the world would be if Germany didn't sink the RMS Lusitania, tried to make the Mexicans side with them, and overall persuade America join the Central Powers.

>no Veeky Forums

It would've been enough for the Rumanians to join the Central Powers in 1916 and they would've won.

Rhodesian would have never died.

The sinking of the Lusitania was an inside job.

Zimmerman telegram was a flase flag. Unrestricted submarine warfare was justified.

After winter 1918 Germany would be soo weakened, commies would take controll of Germany, beg for peace with entente.
Threaty of versailies would be much harsher.
After the great war Germany would ally with soviet russia making one of the most dangerous alliences on the world

Germany still loses but it's even more drawn out and painful

>Unrestricted submarine warfare was justified.
It's only ever justified when the opponent is weaker than you, otherwise you god damn well better bet he's going to make it unjustified.

And we did.

My ideas if Germany won
>Belgium turned into puppet state of Germany
>France becomes quite subservient, it retains independent but becomes economically tied to Germany and the two nations governments are very intertwined
>Frances and Belgiums territories siezed to create Mitel Afika like planned
>Newly independent Eastern European nations like the Baltics from Russia become puppets of Germany like planned
>Britain possibly retains some territory but its military is sized down significantly and economy weakened
>Ottoman Empire re-establishes itself in North Africa, taking back former territory like Egypt and also takes British Middle East colonies like Kuwait and takes back Cyprus.
>If the Soviets don't take back the Caucasus countries the Ottomans possibly do
>Japan is not disadvantaged by post war treaties and instead snaps up a quick alliegence with Germany (I think Germany sent letters to Japan encouraging it become a ally of it alongside the Zimmerman).
>Japan's position heightened on the world stage and if Germany hasn't taken them or hasn't been already been allowed to take them, Japan begins conquering South East Asia, taking it from the prior owners because the colonisers will be to weak.
>America forces itself to be any ally of Germany and acts as an economic competitor and probably greatest competitor in general on the world stage
>Germany and Soviets are non aggressive with each other and also possibly act competitive with each other but are at peace and neutral towards each other.

There's probably a lot of the ways the world could have went and I can probably think of more but those are some ideas of mine.

Ideas don't really cover much of what could happen later into the 20th century or modern day but seem ok for the more immediate years following the war

The U.S. goes to war anyway after another ship full of weapons is justifiably sunk by Germans anyway.

U.S. wanted in as soon as it was clear who was going to win. Nothing changes.

America was destined to join, the frogs and brits were in debt to us for billions, which at the time was enough to collapse every bank and industry in our nation if they were forced to default. They were already close to defaulting with our intervention, hence the Dawes plan.
No matter what, we would have joined to make sure they could pay us back

How the fuck was it clear? After Brest-Litovsk, Germany had pretty much an unlimited amount of resources. I don't see Germany losing in the West.

>Germany sunk the Lusitania
Crowley and the MI6 did that, redpill yourself baka

Even if America, despite joining the Central powers being less popular than both neutrality and joining the Allies, would've joined the Germans instead of the Allies in December 1917, they'd immediately get stuck fighting the UK in Canada and the Caribbean as well as France, Australia and Japan in the Pacific, while the UK and France, having the advantage of manpower and tanks, could still launch the Hundred Days offensive in 1918, although not with the decisive results of our time. Still, with Beirut and Damascus captured by Anglo-Arab forces in the middle of October and the Levant and Mesopotamian armies meeting up in mid-December. By January 1919, despite US success in the New World, the Allied blockade holds and the British manage to push into Turkey proper, taking Antioch a few days into the new year and moving up to Aleppo and Alexandretta a few days later. Finally, in February of 1919, the final nail is put into the Ottoman coffin as Allied troops manage to take Skopje and force the Bulgarians, already facing open revolts and supply shortages, to capitulate, opening the way into Edirne and Eastern Thrace. On March 1st, 1919, the Ottoman Empire formally petitions for an armistice, allowing the Allied troops in the Balkans to march into the soft underbelly of Austria-Hungary. Despite the American occupation of Canada, and by this point, Bermuda, the European front has still not received much help from the US, and inevitably the Serbian front collapses, allowing Balkan and Italian forces to meet up in Dalmatia and march on Zagreb and up the Danube. On March 31st, Austria-Hungary also agrees to an armistice, leaving Germany and the US alone in the war. With this, the British navy begins to plan operations to retake the British Caribbean holdings, and by April Germany, experiencing a nationwide famine, becomes the last Central Power in Europe to surrender.
And so, America stands alone.

What now?

>what was gallopoli
>what is russia sending germany resources after their surrender
>implying the US wouldn't just steamroll canada with all Canadian troops in Europe
buttflustered bong detected

>what was gallipoli
Something that happened in 1916, and is irrelevant to the alternate history since it happens in both timelines.

>what is russia sending germany resources after their surrender
[citation needed]

>implying the US wouldn't just steamroll canada with all Canadian troops in Europe
And what then? Occupying all of Canada would still be a massive task, and there's not many other ways to go from there.

before 1920 around half of Canadians lived in cities and the population was

Citation? Just look up the treaty of Brest-Litovsk, Jesus Christ

You're also assuming they would just roll over Ottoman & Austrian Empire

And why the fuck even bother with Canada? A bunch of woods and mountains, yeah great. Do you think the US would have been this retarded?

>before 1920 around half of Canadians lived in cities and the population was And why the fuck even bother with Canada?
Because they share a 5500km border while every other front is on the other side of the world, as well as being blockaded by the UK?

>You're also assuming they would just roll over Ottoman & Austrian Empire

In 1918, fuck yeah they would.
