Because Britain was already certain that it was going to go to war with Germany soon and by the letter of the treaty it had with Poland it was only compelled to declare war on Germany in the Poles defense. They didn't want to end up in a situation akin to WWI where alliances caused a domino effect of war declarations, instead they limited who their fight was with and assumed (correctly) that the arrangement made between Germany and the Soviet Union was temporary.

Every single post seems to be about how an atrocity never happened, how some group or another should have suffered an atrocity for their past atrocities, complaining about some imagined unfairness that one group was not punished as heavily as the other, that some historic fighting force was total dog shit and their prowess was a meme that exists only to draw away prestige that rightfully belongs to some historic fighting force that they like. It is rife with intellectual dishonesty and zero-sum thinking. Every single poster is a neurotic ideologue that engages in nonstop sophistry to push their fucking narrative and will brook no nuance.

The only ways I can tell which posters visit /pol/ and which don't are:
