The spot was also in easy range of the "grassy knoll" and the nearby Dal-Tex Building, where assassination researchers believe snipers were located. Thus, later, when the "patsy" was in custody, there was a plausible explanation as to how he knew JFK would pass by his workplace. No, there isn't. There have been three other investigations into JFK's assassination and all of them have agreed with the conclusions reached in the Warren Commission. Before responding, go and actually read the report. It's not long and it's very thorough.
