There is a pretty decent number of women in contemporary philosophy, but I don't think most people here have their fingers on the pulse in a manner of speaking.

The best 'traditionalist' philosopher of the 20th century was a woman. Feminists largely forget about her because she doesn't think radical individualism and separatism will somehow fix all their problems, and I think she was kind of rude to Beauvoir too.
