LETS PIRNT MOER MONEY!!!

It's a function of how many people are around who can fill a given job. Look at how high machine learning engineering jobs pay - because very few people are around who can do them well. The growth of world population and globalization powered by the internet mean unskilled jobs can be placed wherever labor is abundant. The only counter to this is for common people to use their democratic advantage to ensure that government creates an environment where they will have opportunity. Instead we have big capital propagandizing anti-government instincts to retarded southerners who have no function and are basically white niggers. So wages are stagnant as the pie grows.

Working women caused this.

Stay in your containment board, please.

Globalization seems to be your argument, and you're partially right I guess. But places like the USA and Japan don't trade (that) much at all and still experience wage stagnation.

I like how Veeky Forums political analysis always includes the two relevant countries to fat American weeaboos. How can you say the US doesn't trade that much, have you heard of China? Anyway it's not about trade or globalization, at the core it's about available labor.

only lower class wages have stagnated.

productivity increased bc of technology, not work ethic.

you really think a mcdonalds employee can get my order wrong faster today then they could 20 years ago?

Technological growth is exponential.
McDonald's shouldn't even have cashiers and cooks at this point.
Living in your car should be legal.

Globalization is just half the part, feminism doubling the workforce in just 30 years totally crashed the wages, before a man could provide alone for his family, now both must work like slaves just to keep their standard of living.

I don't think you understand the issue user.

Back in the days companies compensated the employees compared to how well the companies are doing.

But they stopped doing this around the 1970. The rich getting richer and richer is not a meme.

This will continue to get worse and worse and worse. You can already see symptoms of it by now.

The 1% owns how much now? 30, 40%?

Perhaps in another 10 - 20 years 50%?

We are going back to the days of landlords and people working in the fields. Only difference now this field is replaced by money.

Society is suffering as a whole because of this.

Back in the days the same tactics where being used. Violence (the army/knights) kept the peasants calm. Now its just the police that's doing the job.

I would not be surprised if eventually we saw another revolution if 100 - 200 years if the 1% owned 60 - 80% by then.

It's not entirely their fault, just a symptom of capitalism in general.

Semi correct.

You see.

Since retards wanted women to have way to many rights than men, you have an imbalance. Coupled with politicians now servicing individual rights and not family rights, it creates an even worse imbalance.

That chart is bogus.

If productivity doubles and salaries stagnate, business earnings should have grown way more than they have, but in reality, salaries have only lost a 5% of weight since the 70s in the list of business expenses.

The main problem is that the measure for productivity on that chart is "main sector productivity and real wages of goods-producing workers", which obviously would favor industrial economies over service based economies.

Basically, like comparing Silicon Valley productivity with construction wages, one is multiplying while the other stays stagnant.

Also, wages are not the only way to remunerate a worker, forcing companies to pay health insurance of workers is a way to remunerate workers too, and this is not accounted for in this chart.

On top of that, it's using two different indexes to discount inflation, PCI for wages, GDP deflator for productivity.

Tldr: Economy turns into services, meanwhile that chart uses data that is skewed towards industrial production. A few years ago this would have been called out on the first 3 posts, nowadays this is infested with crypto normies.

The destruction of labour rights and privatisation and humanity: Neoliberalism. It didn't have to happen but the elite cucks the population and gives them TV, the internet and stupid shit to stop them thinking about being screwed daily.

Hmm i wonder when was the gold standard abolished?

>productivity doubles
productivity of sheet wat no one want to buy
-> need big invextment for changing everething, brock all and rebuild

> population increase
> inflation
> automation
> globalism

Yet you're saying the chart be lyin?

back in the day America was the bastion of unbridled capitalism and was competitive and profitable enough to warrant higher wages

income inequality will always exist in a free country where some people are more financially responsible than others. you don't get to decide how much money people make, despite what bernouts tell you young, gullible idiots.

instead of trying to make the rich poorer, which never works, you should focus on making the poor richer. which means growing the economy and creating jobs. poor people don't create jobs.

Again, as long as they're not stealing anything, its none of your business how much money other people make. Maybe you wouldn't be so poor if you focused on bettering your own life?

the days of landlords and field workers never stopped existing in the first place.

society is suffering because govt action intended to help the poor has only made them slaves to the system

>the police are the reason I'm poor

capitalism is the greatest thing to ever happen to poor people. Poor americans are the richest poor people in the world.

TV was around since the 60s and the internet wasn't popular until 2006. Grandpa, your dementia is setting in again.

> capitalism is the greatest thing to ever happen to poor people. Poor americans are the richest poor people in the world.

Off the backs of 11 year old children in Thailand. Congratulations.

This is an issue of lack of compensation, not lack of human productivity. Companies used to share their fats with everyone, now the only one getting compensation is right up at the top. Mcdonald's could as well automate everything and the guy oiling the robots would still be flat out poor due to not getting actual shares of that sweet profit.

> Poor americans are the richest poor people in the world.

You must not have travelled much. Believe me, I am not a fan of other countries' governments, but in many (note: not all) other countries the very poor are FAR better off... as are the lower-class, lower-middle-class, and middle-classes.

In regards to OP's questions, the answers are
1. capitalism
2. destruction of capitalism

all of you blaming jews/women/etc are dupes. massive, crushing wealth inequity is part of capitalism.

I assume you mean China or Indonesia, Thailand isn't as significant an exporter (unless you're referring to child prostitution, which is something that sends money out of the USA). China's middle class has exploded over the last couple decades; capitalism has been the greatest thing to them. In turn, China is creating a middle-class in Africa, not with gibmedat welfare/charity but with jobs and infrastructure.

Western populations are easily brainwashed and controlled by the media. The rich hijacked governments completely. Politicians are mostly employees of oil, agri- business etc.

When you are losing; when you have low wages, no healthcare, high rents, petrol etc: the megarich are winning.

That chart is not "lying", just comparing apples and oranges.

Real wages and productivity would not have such a steep disengagement, only a 5% in the last 40 years.

I'm not sure what standards of middle class improvement are we applying here (not being sarcastic either). Consider a Chinese city such as Shenzen which is one of the wealthiest out there, has a huge stock exchange, and their industrial park is basically THE smartphone source of the whole world. Yet their middle class can be deemed all but prosperous due to excessive wage degeneracy (in the form of pays that are illusory high but not enough to cover basic expenses there, kinda like Silicon Valley). I'll concede they are basically building African infrastructure from the ground up, but is the emerging middle class the best it could be, even if it's better than tribal mode?

>female loli slave

Where can I sign for this?

wages are consensual. if you don't like it, demand a raise or find a better job. if no one on earth will pay you more, than its because you aren't worth more. govt doesn't protect the worker. competing employers protect the worker because they compete for your skills. if you don't want minimum wage don't have minimum skills.

its also the fault of corrupt politicians that unfairly benefit the big companies that bribe them. minn wage, regulations, welfare, obamacare, permits and licenses all hurt small businesses much more than big ones, which drives down competition.

people who argue in favor of socialism and also complain that corporations are too big are idiots.

>in the form of pays that are illusory high but not enough to cover basic expenses there, kinda like Silicon Valley
Citation needed, obviously there is significant congestion and if you want to live downtown in the main financial district it's going to cost, but overall cost of living is far lower than America's, and overall life is much more comfortable and affordable there than it was 20 years ago

Seriously, stop posting about economy and read a fucking book. By definition those products are being sold you fucking mong, productivity in that chart is calculated with GDP as output...

>wages are consensual. if you don't like it, demand a raise or find a better job. if no one on earth will pay you more, than its because you aren't worth more. govt doesn't protect the worker. competing employers protect the worker because they compete for your skills. if you don't want minimum wage don't have minimum skills.

Unemployment is controlled by a county's central bank via interest rates to reduce inflation.

When there is a large pool of unemployed people then employers have the power, jobs are scarce. Western govts are dedicated to keeping unemployment at least above 4%. If it goes below that, its too low and the central bank will raise interest rates to 'slow growth down.' The nice effect for businesses is this keeps jobs scarce and the power with them as opposed to labour shortages.

There was a time you could pack up and move to another city and walk into a building and say I'd like a job and you'd get one that day. The rich made sure politicians will never allow the system to run like that again.

This is all stuff the average person should know but they have facebook likes to think about.

>Unemployment is controlled by a county's central bank via interest rates to reduce inflation.
lmao I thought you were dead William Phillips

Its still happening

It's not capitalism retard

If taxes, regulations, inflation and public debt rise in severity every year who the fuck do you think is to blame, small businesses and the middle-class?

How do we get off this ride? Like literally where can I move to get away from western society?

This is based on a bullshit study.

>Mercatus Center
>Founder: Koch brothers

C'mon now.

You're wrong but even if you weren't come back with something substantial.

The answer is as easy as something called this:

Microprocessor.

It has changed the way we manufacture and crunch big time numbers, to speculating markets.

The split represents machines and computers exponentially increasing production that humans could not do.

This

Fiat currency is a joke

So, automation?

Women in the workforce

me explaining to retards what automation is indirectly has a better effect.

I think folks ignore the massive benefits that computers have had on modern business. You no longer have a degree in accounting to work in an accounting department. Think about that. You can hire someone to punch numbers into excel for $30K a year that does more work than someone did 30 years ago.

you know how to solve this problem user. (((they))) have conditioned you to think its immoral and wrong, but deep down you know its always been (((them))). rise up

>US doesn't trade much

Are you fucking autistic we're the largest exporter of food and China's largest customer

>Japan doesn't trade
They have a massive trade surplus

You could like look at the fucking picture idk man

70% of both the US' and Japans' economy are unrelated to both imports and exports.

In comparison: only 20% of the German economy is unrelated to trade.

>measure of productivity according to some dildo loving suit
end yourself.

life now for the poor and middle classes is far better than it was in the 70s

if you want to make more money, provide more value. if your country's public services/welfare are trash, rally people together to improve them.

wage stagnation is a problem of the people who agree to work for that wage. even if you legally make it difficult for employers to pay less, there will be employees who offer up their benefits/hours/commute in exchange for the job, or they will end up paying much more for rent/mortgage/etc. and effectively be just as poor.

don't make a fool of yourself. you have to accept that some people are stupid as fuck across the spectrum, and live your own life by your own rules. if you believe you are worth more, prove it. if you can do the job better, prove it. there is ample opportunity in the modern world. most people just don't care because quality of life is ABSURDLY HIGH compared to what humans are used to.

Dubs of truth

US went off the gold standard back in 71
do the math

>life now for the poor and middle classes is far better than it was in the 70s
>wage stagnation is a problem of the people who agree to work for that wage
>if you believe you are worth more, prove it. if you can do the job better, prove it.

>give me free shit and wipe my ass for me
anarchists are so weird.

Show me an example in history where government overreach has ever been reversed without blood

The majority of Veeky Forums wasn't even alive during the 90s, but my first job in HS was in the early 90s and I remember having to type out invoices on an old ass type writer.

Computers were expensive as shit and most small businesses didn't yet have them.

It would literally take me and two other guys from 8am to noon to do what I can now do in 15 minutes in excel and word.

Not only does that one example eliminate two jobs, it also reduces the hours required to do the same thing from 12 total hours to 15 minutes total

No

you know why

Found the asshurt clinton voter :^).

women and foreigners.
making mommy work was about ending the one paycheck home and immigrants suppress wages in the same fashion. PoCs also drag down wages in the own country with Free Trade.

i'm p. sure you are just talking about schoolwork and not actual jobs.

efficiency doesn't "eliminate" jobs. people always find ways to provide added value. budgeting for staff is a separate conversation from relative input/output.

also, just because people "can" do something faster, doesn't mean they actually do it. in pharma companies (and i imagine in most old industries in general), most shit that was done by hand before is still being done by hand, with a few added convenience tools. and there's no pressure to keep these tasks inefficient; there are countless potential projects to work on if we improved output.

Try greedy republicans and spineless dems.

...

you're right about the fact that not every task can be performed faster by the use of a computer. but now the biggest sector in our modern world is computer science. the big four today are not construction or train companies anymore. anybody can do excel: young weak men and women, but not anybody could work on the coalmine 50 years ago.

I'd say woman and technology are both the root cause. woman doubles the workforce available, and technology makes jobs easier to perform and thus lowers its minimum requirements and makes them less demanding for much more people.

>a German jackboot pushing a Jew wearing a NSDAP armband into an oven

I dont understand.

Iran

That's because no matter how much money you throw at basketball Americans they're just going to spend it on cigarettes, malt liquor, and 22in flatscreen TVs.

despite how wrong you are, I wholly agree the Fed is bad and should be abolished.

thats why you limit the power of govt so rich people can't bribe them in the first place.

you're blaming the effect, not the cause. govt is the root of all evil.

Outlaw usury and watch what happens.

> During the 1930s Japan rapidly expanded her industrial production, while the rest of the world, with the exception of National Socialist Germany, stagnated. By 1941 Japan had become the leading economic power in East Asia. Her exports were steadily replacing those of America and England.

Sieg Heil.

youtube.com/watch?v=lDQLgG1yuLU

yeah, sold on credit. Imagine if people actually had to save money to buy something instead of just "paying later". I bet the price of goods would go down to make things more affordable but instead we have fucking 8 year car loans and people financing fucking microwaves. It's pathetic.

Unironically this. You doubled the amount of workers, of course labor is going to become less valuable.

>he'srightyouknow.jpg
why make it about partisan bullshit?

I didn't vote and if I did I would've voted for trump for the keks but you and I both know quoted OP is right.

overall wealth inequality has a way bigger impact than 2x (it's actually less than that) increase in workforce

advances in technology have made it easier for people with money to make more money. there's a fuckload of obvious trends that I don't want to type out here

read capital in the 21st century

it's a natural system

Jesus fucking christ, trump is the epitome of every problem discussed in this thread. If you would have voted just for the keks, please just vote for a literal steaming pile of feces.

rich people will always make more money than everyone else because shockingly rich people are more responsible with money than liberal arts majors. complaining about different people making different amounts of money is like complaining that someone got a higher score on their math test.

advances in tech lower the cost of goods over time. people will have to learn skills other than burger flipping as tech advances or go the neo-Luddite route.

Jesus christ, what an awesome fucking poem

Isn't it? Usury is more destructive than you think. So many things that should happen don't due to its destructive influence.

It's steering the whole world toward spiritua destruction.

is it?
