'SJW' is a new term that often is not used *by* the person identified by it. Lennon was, if anything, a hippie. Essentially a precursor to the modern SJW, hippies brought life to the idea that one can be political without engaging in collective political action. Hippies detached themselves from mainstream culture so that they could dominate their own tiny niches with impunity, and formed the echo chamber that SJW's presently live in.
