You'd need to trade options for those kind of consistent gains and that requires a platform designed for it. I believe Tastyworks needs 2k USD minimum to fund an account. ToS I'm not sure about. But keep in mind you have to be exceptional at predicting where the market is going to go to get those kind of gains outside of just having a fucking large portfolio that manages 1k on a few % gains.

$1k a month is a really good return unless you're day trading or you're really good at swing trading.

This is close enough. Does anybody hav e experience with spread betting or cfd trading platforms? e.g. IG, LCG, that kind of thing.

I've been playing around with demo accounts and it seems pretty easy to make money because of the amount of leverage available. Obviously you can lose a lot too, but the risk don't seem to great if going for swings on something like the US500 index that doesn't move too much.

the 9 and 27 moving average for gush. xop and erx are getting close together. either the etfs fall and the moving averages are pushed away again or they cross and energy related etfs finally break out. i think that a breakout is more likely and therefore you should probably buy gush, erx or xop.
