Are Anglos Germanic or Celtic

Germanic

Source: wikipedia

they are germanic since the only domain where these terms can be applied is linguistics.

Then why are they so ugly like Celts?

Actual historical anglos were a germanic tribe.
However nowadays basically every european is parts celtic, parts germanic ( and parts slavic). With higher rates of celtic in like france, ireland, but also great britain to an extend...

They're Semitic

Angles are germanic, and so are anglos. There's a pretty obvious difference between the people of Great Britain, kind of like the difference between Frankish, Gallic, and Roman French. Of course, there's been a fuckton of mixing.

t. half english with both curly red hair and swarthy black hair on the english side

Because they where only forced to leave the mainland because they where ugly.
Same thing with the Romans, the uglies went to Britannia so nobody has to see that shit.

Why do some Brits have a more Mediterranean look? Like Rowan Atkinson, Sean Connery, Keith Richards, John Oliver.

Because the country was invaded loads by many different people, the original settlers were iberian celts I have heard. Most people aren't that swarthy though. Notice how the east is a lot more blond due to the Germanic tribes settling and the viking raping.

The settlement of Britain predates the coming of Celtic and Germanic language

yes

Neither because anglo Saxon is a name applied to a diverse group with little bonding culture

english is a romance language

Nope.

It's a dialect of German (Frisian), with a lot of French (romance) and Norse (Germanic) vocabulary.

Depends on which sense you mean. Genetically, they seem to be more "Celtic" (or rather, pre-Anglo-Saxon) than "Germanic" though that's not definitive. Linguistically, they're obviously Germanic but with a language very influenced by Romance. Culturally, they're a rather unique entity of their own with closest similarities to Western Europe.
