This could be said that she at least was mental in the fact of ignoring societal norms for a passion. As a Christian, I believe that God typically doesn't pick sides in wars, which leaves us with her being mental. However, without the HYW's ending how it did, we might not an America as we know it, and that for one makes me think that it could have been divine intervention.
