I'm studying Christian history, tell me if this is accurate

>30 AD: Jesus goes to Rome and establishes Church there
>Every single Christian in the world agrees on doctrine
>There are no doctrinal disputes at all, and nobody is ever wrong about Christian beliefs
>All are subservient to the great and holy pope, the successor of Peter
>Every single person is a mighty crusader willing to die for Christ. Deus vult? Deus vult.
>1500 AD: Erasmus, Martin Luther, and King James decide to destroy Christianity
>Write the King James Bible, and establish the Baptist Church
>Remove seven books from the scripture, these seven books contain the doctrines of Mary as mediatrix, purgatory, praying to saints, papal infallibility, and works-based-salvation. Without those seven books, those doctrines aren't in the Bible
>Poor people start to read Bible
>Infinite denominations come to exist
>All different in doctrine, but they are all KJV onlyist Lutheran charismatics.
>Christendom destroyed
>Jesus wept
>Satan laughed
Did I forget anything?

You forgot about ... 3 or so schisms, depending on what you consider them to be. Several weird ass cults split off early on, Orthodox split off in the 11th century, then you have the Paulicians, Apostalians, Miasphites, Monophites, etc etc.

You forgot someone very important.

Not to mention the Hussites.

He was just butthurt his jew-ish form of Christendom didn't attract as many Jews as he hoped.

No, they were simply predestined to burn.

BASED

>30 AD: Jesus goes to Rome and establishes Church there

This is now a Calvinist thread.

How about the Coptic Alexandrian church breaking with Rome/east in the 4th/5th century?

Then orthodox split with Rome in 11th century?

Hussites? Waldensians? Arnoldists? Paulicians? Apostalains?

You clearly did a wikipedia read through of Roman church history and have not picked up a book. See me after class

>I don't agree with the pope politically
Time to make my own Church.

No how about we don't agree that a pope has any scriptural basis. His shitty politics are just fun to point out

Uh, haven't you heard of the gnostic heresies? Many existed before the church fathers.

>>All are subservient to the great and holy pope, the successor of Peter
No matter how many documents you forge it doesn't make it true.

I get what you're saying OP. Too bad everyone in this thread is too dumb to get the joke.

Tip: it's a dig at Catholics and their views on Protestants.
