>Whats the magic number in your head that you think you need to "enjoy" the style youve dreamed about
All of it.

$1b

I need a bare minimum of 100 000€ to live off dividends such that I can enjoy a modest, peaceful and relatively carefree life here in East Europe. This would net me dividends about equivalent to the median wages.

200 000€ doubles it, which means relative luxury has been achieved. I would be able to do as I please within reason. I'd like to get here in order to travel the world nonstop and take in as much as possible before I die.

Anything beyond that is approaching riches most people will never see in East Europistan terms. Million is absolute overkill. Dividends off that would allow you to outright buy a nice medium apartment twice per year/luxury apartment or a nice house once per year.
As you can imagine, overkill. More money than I would know what to do with aside from reinvesting. This would ensure my family would live in luxury for generations, until either WW3 or something else reks the global economy.

I don't get you Ameriburgers. What on earth do you need millions upon millions for? Absolutely senseless wealth with no further benefits aside from a bigger number.

5 million

£2 million
But i'd cash out 100k when i get to 200k

My present income is actually enough

I have something to the amount of 3000 euros in my hand every month, own a car, own an apartment, go on vacations abroad multiple times a year, and still have money for good food, too many cigarettes and beers, and the occasional weed-binge.

When I dropped out of high-school ten years ago, I struggled to pay rent and often went to bed hungry.
The lifestyle I have now is like a king compared to that

I smell a storytime!

Americans want the nicest of cars and the biggest of houses

£2k/month would ensure I'd never have to wageslave. £4k/month would allow me to have pretty much whatever I want and support my gf in that lifestyle too. I don't want much fancy things, just a reasonably nice apartment and free time for hobbies and traveling.

So whatever capital would get me that monthly amount

What dividends do you anticipate getting? Which country too, purely from curiosity? I went to Prague once, it seemed comfy.

It's not that special

> Dropped out due to weed abuse and lack of motivation.
> Work shitty temp jobs while smoking all my money away
> Make pots of soup that lasted me for days, sometimes I could afford chicken meat for it
> Get a callcenter job as a question-asker
> Get bored and consider education again
> Factory seeks apprentice that will get dual proces-operator/technical highschool education
> Get the spot
> Grind my way through shitty work and being about half as old as the next worker
> Crisis hits but I am shielded because apprentice, get trained by people that are fired with 3 months notice
> Struggle through school, try to manage weed addiction
> Below average high-school grades, good grades in the technical part
> Factory manager agrees to keep me after I finish (uncommon, normally apprentices are sent out to try new stuff before maybe returning, but I had a good grasp on the whole factory and do a good job)
> Now I got a good salary, have been promoted to team leader, and like a good adult stopped too much weed and drink a lot instead

It's not rosy, but damn am I content with life right now.
Considering going to school again for further career options (kinda limited in my field and at the factory)

congrats user for turning your life around

Well done, user! You got this. Make sure you keep those vices under control though - they are sneaky bastards.

Kek's blessings upon you.

If I had $40 million i'd be very, very happy.

Thanks guys

I really hope someone can be motivated by this, even when you are at rock-bottom, you can pick yourself up and grab the chances you seek out.

Never thought I would get into this kind of work, but now I thrive in the dirty and highly banterous blue-collar work.

Was raised by women and seriously considered social worker or working with kids or some kind of stuff like that.
The factory lured me in with the promise of paying me to get educated, and now I stick around because I genuinely like it (and the pay is good for someone who comes from the bottom)

$2.5 million sounds doable, would probably be set with 4x that though.

3k€ after taxes ? where do you live ?

That's a pretty big guy

And yet you all sit here doing what? Wishful thinking?

Get up off your lazy ass and be a real entrepreneur, wagecucks.

Millions? Nah, put that dead dream back on the shelf where it belongs.

$5K USD a week either from work or investments is where I would like to get to. Me and wife currently wage cuck for $130K a year and make it but don't have it easy or have everything we need. Double that and I'm good with that. I'm 33 and done of wishing for Lambos. Just want a comfy 3xistance with little social interaction or expectations.

>3000euro a month
>own car, appartment.
>weed abuse
>too many beers
Hello, me.

Around $1,000,000
I would still work part-time as a freelance software developer, choosing only interesting jobs

Then you're going to die sad, faggot

Learn to be content with less

I shoot for 2m€, that's enough to buy a small apartment and live from dividends, I live in a fairly expensive city. Don't want to move elsewhere.

Scandinavia

fuck off faggot, i'm not desperate to have that amount and i'm not investing more than I am willing to lose.

your mentality is why there are wage cucks.

In what country is that? I already got 100.000€ worth of BTC but don't plan selling any until 2025 when im rich as fuck.

Im from spain, will I be accepted there? I wanted to move to czech or something, where the most beautiful escorts are. Russia is too much of a shithole.

I hate it tho, I want to stay here in spain, i love the weather etc, and I think all EE people are cold murdering weirdos.

where the fuck do you make 3000€ in some factory?

not even engineers make 3000€ here

Your mentality is why you will be poor

also good escorts in spain, but its 150€ a month

and a good house with a pool is 300.000€.. fuck!

and im not sure anything below 500.000€ could give you decent passive income from dividends in stock or some shit i dont know how that works

so my dream number is 2.5 million € so i can stay in spain withouth having to resort to living in some shithole

not sure how moving to andorra legally would work

if I want to cash out al of my currency at once, what's the best EU country to do that in?
If I stay here in Ireland, everything after the first €2600 of profit is taxed at 24%.

10-30 million

20k and I'll be debt free

Romania is dirt cheap and still EU.

hi gex.

What're you doing on here?

explain to me how I will be poor?

I research, buy and hold the coin.

You think i'll be poor because my behavior annoys you.

enough to immigrate in the us

But how safe it is?

How much money do I need to make like 1000€ from dividends which is enough to live comfy in romania?

How much for a nice house in romania with a nice house?

That I do not know, I just have a few romanian colleagues. They seem to be pretty happy to have left their country, though.

What's a gex?

Right now? Dude I'd be ecstatic about having 50k so that I can move to a place that's not borderline ghetto and get a car and not worry about food and bills and being able to afford a hobby or two.

Overall though, 10 million would have me set.

$5 million dollars - get 2% a year and thats 100k/year doing nothing but letting your money work for you. And imagine if you get more than a measly 2%/year? what a life it would be!

>pursue your dreams
>give up on your dreams
Back to back contradictions

>barely finished highschool
>work a dead end factory job
>turned his life around

aha I love this place

lmao i hate this place

300k, I liven eastern europe

1.5m means I never work again, 2.5m means I never work again and get to buy the chopper I have always dreamed of.
>inb4 faggots think every chopper is millions
Secondhand MD-500 is the goal.

£20 million. I want to own a large house and a holiday home. A collection of classic Japanese cars. My family and my friends need to be able to come to the top with me. I want to travel in style and own quality products. I want to not be able to work for the rest of my life and to be able to afford materials and tools do my own projects.

Ma nigger.

My dream life? At least $100 mil. But honestly if I ever hit $1.5 I would probrably retire and enjoy the neet life on the cheap.

This is basically me. I bring in ~$4k/month after taxes, my gf ~$2k/month after taxes. $3k goes to rent and bills.

The other $3k goes to crypto because I hate being a fucking wagecuck and want off this ride.

>too many cigarettes
Quit smoking, and you will have even more money.

no homo

that 2000 hrs overhaul ain't cheap user.

That is why I want an extra million instead of just the 600k for the bird itself.

anything like a yacht ,plane, exotic car has a high burn rate. And a helicopter...you'd burn through that million so fast, youd end up selling it after 5 to 6 years with 50k left in your hand.

The way the cost of living is going up, five million should be enough for me to live off of.

They aren't cheap but they also aren't THAT expensive. As a bonus my list of friends include: avionics engineer, mechanical engineer (airframe) and someone pretty high up in Sikorsky.

4 million
Invest in bonds at 2-3%
$120k salary

Go get a MBA or some retarded bullshit and chase cutting edge technology like machine learning or cryptocurrencies with 0 risk

>hey seem to be pretty happy to have left their country, though.
so whats the point

>0 risk
so you want to be poor

Nah I'm an american and I totally feel you. I'd be beyond happy with 100k, anything above 250k just seems fucking excessive. There's a reason people scream about the top 1% all day, and it's because most of those people are vile, and non-meme greed I see on Veeky Forums reflects that. 100k is travel the world peacefully money mayne

Any thoughts on gliders? Are they expensive to mantain?

Ever heard of fuck you money? I want fuck you money, if I want more I can (and will) chase it to pass the time. But I need that baseline so I can fuck up repeatedly without becoming homeless.

If you think retiring on a upper-middle class salary is "poor" you need to re-evaluate your priorities.

Looks beautiful

buy gold or silver online instead with crypto

$2 million.

Right now I spend roughly $500/month between myself and my wife outside of our student loan debts. I anticipate having to bump that up to $1000/month when we have kids (I don't buy into the "never have kids and you'll be happy" meme, I just don't want to have them when I'm still in debt). I want a simple, rural life and I want to ideally survive off of dividend payouts without having to touch my main bulk (with the exception of emergencies). From my research, depending on how I invest I will need $2 million to achieve a minimum annual dividend payout of $45,000/year, which is more than enough for what I need to survive with children.

I'm still extraordinarily new to the whole process, so if I ever actually came close to my goal I'd probably see an financial expert about it just to make sure my plan is feasible, but for the time being I'm just trying to work towards $2 million.

The more items and money that come into my possession help give my ego substance. That simple.

>secondhand MD-500
Where do I find used choppers? I checked eBay and Dallas Craigslist, there isn't anything.

couldnt you just withdraw 1200-2500 every 2 weeks on pay day and say its coming from different sources?

Everything is relative dude

When you come from the bottom and get an income that puts you into middle-class tier lifestyle it's pretty good, and the realworld experience will open doors once I get further education, if the company doesn't offer me a specialized education geared towards project management or general leadership you can take part time (they have a history of doing that, my boss who is now boss of the whole factory took that route)
