Honestly anyone watching Youtube videos for historical analysis outside of things like physical reenactments deserves what they get. It's entertainment, that's all.

Matt is better. Actually cites shit and doesn't make wild claims. The problem with trying to logically understand everything in history without sources is that people don't always behave logically so you can't just assume "it was done this way because it makes the most sense" when people don't necessarily do what makes the most sense.

At least when Matt argues something was unlikely, that's as far as he goes: "unlikely." He doesn't make sweeping claims like Lindy.

Anecdotal evidence is pretty important in history desu, especially if you have only one source (that's not really relevant for the WW2 though). He sources all his anecdotes though so it doesn't make my statement wrong.
