It's already been done to an extent. American immigration policy favors relatively wealthy and educated blacks from Africa (particularly Igbo from Nigeria) and the English-speaking Caribbean that are already self-selected to have higher intelligence and cultural values conducive to success in modern post-industrial societies than the average American black descended from slaves.

Indian-Americans are a similar case where only already wealthy, educated, upper caste, and successful individuals are permitted to immigrate and are thus generally perceived to be smart and wealthy in American society. Indians taken as a whole actually aren't particularly intelligent (almost sub-Saharan Africa tier) but their uppercastes are large enough to sustain that stereotype in Western countries.

Unfortunately Western societies tend to have de facto dysgenic reproductive policies among their native-born populations (regardless of race) since they subsidize out-of-wedlock births to poorer, less intelligent, and by definition more dysfunctional individuals via welfare policies.

If you look at the other numbers given by the same source, it falls between the Irish or Canadian American and Dutch or French American median incomes.

Ashkenazim can be anywhere between 30 and 70 percent Middle Eastern genetically, and vice versa, anywhere between 30 and 70 percent European genetically, depending on the individual family. It averages out to half and half Euro/Mideast. But most Ashkenazim seem to be in the 60 Mideast 40 Euro range. Ashkenazim and Sephardim cluster very closely together. People talk about AJ clustering with Greek and Sicilian, but they are actually much closer to Sephardim. Sephardim on average are slightly less Euro and slightly more Mideast than Ashkenazis. Sephardim and Ashkenazis both seem to cluster as 'far southern european' on PCA plots, which makes sense given their ancestry. It's simple: Their entire culture is based around education and intellectualism. A big part of Judaism is questioning, debating, and discussing the texts of the Torah. (which makes a good portion of the talmund iirc. If someone who is actually Jewish on this board can correct that for me if I'm wrong, I would appreciate you doing it.) In order to convert to Judaism, especially the more Orthodox sects, you're encouraged to learn a lot of text and Jewish culture. This proneness to education can be translated to real life where Jews will take their education skills and will often read all kinds of books and other media at a much higher rate compared to a regular person.

I have a Jewish friend who wrote an entire book before the age of 20. Not every Jew is smart, most of them aren't, but like with southeast Asia or any other culture has a focus on education, there will be more people who have a higher IQ.
