Why didn't Nicholas just executed him? Imagine Russia without communism, without revolutions, without collectivization.

Nicky was a nice guy who hated making decisions.

A better question is why didn't someone else do it.

cause he kept running away (i.e. 'exile')

why didn't anyone catch him? cause no one saw Lenin or the Bolsheviks as a major threat. the fact they managed to take charge in the wake of the 1917 revolution was remarkable, and much a matter of Russia's instability/unrest/need for radical change

>tfw provisional government didn't turn into democratic republic, or at least constitutional monarchy, where the SRs managed to push through land reforms to placate the peasants (and thus the majority of the population)

A Russian revolution was going to happen, if not by Lenin than by some other faction. That government was teetering for years

B-but death penalty is wrong!!

How did he know? He almost ever lived in letters, in the ends, at the ends of the envelope he wrote for the front. To the same, on the contrary, he did not proceed with the revolution. At this point, almost all the bloody Left Oppositionists (in this case, Lenin, who did not have any information about Pašše, who was staying in Světzária), was clearly declaring that the resolution in Pashké would be and will continue, even as soon as possible. He was right next to the untrammeled free spirits

нa, пoлyчи, мpaзь

Nicholas was a bleeding heart trying hard to live up to his Father's example. He failed obviously.

Martyr effect. Probably would've kick started the revolution early had he done it obviously, maybe could've worked if he'd made it look like an accident...
>Imagine Russia without communism, without revolutions, without collectivization
>tfw you will never see a comfy middle class Russian suburb in winter instead of those hideous commie blocs
>tfw you will never see an organic Russian culture, only echos steeped in Soviet culture

Not every Russian government is a genocide machine.

There was that 8 month period in 1917

That was too late

It'd be a backwards shithole.

Communism saved the people, and the only people that don't want communism are cunts that are too stupid to see past bourgeoisie propaganda. You should be gulaged. I'm not even joking.

Yeah thats why it killed hundreds of millions by starvation

He was a literal nobody.

I guess people don't starve under capitalism, right? I guess Russia doesn't historically have problems with famine (one under Nicholas too)? I guess kulaks burning crops is communism's fault too?

>starve under capitalism
BFTO commie scum, Russia was not even capitalist.

That + suing for peace with Germany in mid-1917 probably would have averted the October Revolution.

>you will never live in timeline Kerensky wasn't a retard, made peace with the Central Powers, and handled domestic affairs like a sane person
>you will never live in a timeline where Russia has a health century-long democratic tradition
>you will never live in a timeline without WWII and the Cold War

>I guess kulaks burning crops is communism's fault too?

Literally yes, it is.
>we demand you give all your crops and starve to death for the glory of communism
>yeah, no, we will burn our crops first
>WAAAGH Y U SO MEEN TO GOMMUNISM?!?!?!

Kulaks were literally given everything they needed to grow those crops. They were given workers, equipment, land, the crops themselves, etc. They were told they could even sell the excess and would get paid whether they even fulfilled the crop quota or not (because things aren't always a 100% certainty).

They destroyed the crops they had grown out of spite.

Fuck kulaks. Fuck the bourgies. Fuck everyone who disparages communism. You belong in a gulag or in a ditch.

...

Its like asking why Saddam hasn't executed Abu Baker el Bagdadi. Because who the fuck was he back than?

I will kill you first.

>you will never live in timeline where Russia doesn't go through Civil War and gommies don't ever rule Russia
>you will never live in a timeline where your grand grand grandfather is put in Gulag for 11 years.
d-delete this...

Because he was of a noble line and the nobility were horrified by the executions of their own. The Russian aristocracy in the Alexander III and Nicholas eras were dependent on the good will of the nobility after Alexander III gutted many of his father's attempts at reform because Alex 3 wanted to return Russia to the Good Ole Days. As a result it was usually easier to just exile irritating nobles than it was to kill them.

If you kill Lenin than Trotsky takes his place and this is the even worse timeline.

Nicholas was a cuck who deserved to be killed. That being said, the bolsheviks were authoritarian dickheads.

If you killed Lenin, Trotsky would have easily filled in the gap, and he was more authoritarian, backstabbing anarchists and what not.

On top as to why they didn't kill him, Marxist Leninism was a fairly new ideology, and considering the peasants were sick of the tsar, most of them wouldn't have been thinking twice.

>tfw human history is just a really long game of Crusader Kings 2 and the player has lost interest, but he keeps playing because he just wants his chronicle to be long

>martyr effect
Pretty sure Lenin was a literally who before the October Revolution.

in his diary this fucktart, Nicky, writes about how he wakes up at noon, goes for a walk and a picnic with his family, eats his breakfast at 2 pm and then reads some stupid ass shit all while millions of people die at the WWI front
he was a fucking blogger, not a ruler
and Lenin was a mass murderer with good intentions at first, and, well... then again you can never trust a guy who wants to rule over people

Man, say what you will about Putin but at least he's actually Russian. This kike and that shitskin Stalin don't look slavic at all
