Do they think that somehow, magically, calling AD and BC a secular jewish euphemism will make it not be based on the birth of Jesus Christ? I don't get it.... I'm a christian atheist (yes that's a thing, just like jew atheist) and it doesn't make sense to me since the pagan parts of the calendar like Thursday ("Thor's Day") or January ("Janus Month") are left alone.
