feels good desu

Anyone got that pic of a Russian engine room before and after it was taken over by the Chinese?

>you will never work in a reactor room without knowing russian language
>you will never die at 25 because of bad reactor shielding
>you will never die because Petjr opened the wrong valve
>you will never suffocate to death in the North Sea while your government refuses help

i'm ok with this

....and you don't have $40?

My bad, $30.

I'm a BAN.

>ywn survive a torpedo exploding and taking off the front of your sub. then it sinking to the bottom.
>to only then die as the sub slowly floods. because the russians didn't allow NATO to send a rescue mission, and the russian rescue got their way too late.

this desu

almost as bad a deathwish as being a submariner in the kriegsmarine

If this thread is still up when I get home I'll dump this series of comedic soviet era illustrations depicting life on a submarine.

>and the russian rescue got their way too late
Russian rescue never came, it was Norwegian divers who had to go down and knock on shit to see if people still were alive

>Russian rescue never came
Wrong
they rescued submarine remains
also it's was nato attack to steal BULAVA

memphys and toledo sank the kursk

Thank you

/k/ back in 2015

great thread

The Norwegians said that even if they had been allowed to launch a rescue mission, they wouldn't have gotten there in time.

Still a dick move by the Russians.

Imagine how much greater the USSR would of been if instead of dicking around with MUH GLOBAL REVOLUTION they would of been contempt building a functional communist state that was in good terms with the rest of the world.

I bet he was sent to gulag for this

Great stuff. Thanks.

My neighbour was russian who served on a submarine.

A short man which i guess was an advantage for him, very capable handyman -- he could do anything. I remember his wooden pen holders styled as figures of sailors that he clearly made himself.

>slowly floods
That's nonsense, at that depth it's impossible for a submarine to "flood slowly", it would be crunched instantly thanks to pressure. Those soldiers didn't drown, their bodies were ripped apart in a second in the initial explosion.

>tfw will never own nuclear submarine
fuck

> Kursk
lel

Wat? Are you completely new to the Kursk-incident?

It's true though, the soldiers were dead on impact. There was no drowning.

Except for the ones that didnt. And the sub is waaaaay above crushdepth.

nooo, everything says is what happened, except that they died from a fire/suffocated before the remaining compartments flooded completely

haha...pushing the shit faced and hungover crew men aboard for roll call.

Have you read anything about the Kursk-incident? Like, at all?

"I'm an idiot asshole that sat through part of a thread on /k/ concerning submarine failures below crush depth, but I didn't read more on the subject because I was too busy sucking dicks."
