At the moment, yes. Long term, who knows.

Relatively, yes. Absolutely, no.

Explain how power is declining, not image.

image is a key part of power, you cannot arbitrarily cleave it off

Global influence is falling. China is making moves on allies in Asia and Africa while the EU is becoming independent, South America + Mexico as of now is highly critical of the US

America is no longer "head and shoulders" above possible competitors like it used to be. America in absolute terms is richer, more powerful, etc. than it used to be, but other countries are catching up.

Why do I believe that this chart is bullshit?

there is nothing wrong with the rest of the human race attaining our level of human advancement

Power is relative term.

America is growing in absolute sense that its economy is increasing, its got a modern active force that's also increasing, and its culture is increasing.

In relative sense, China is going to overtake America in economic sense, its military is only ~1/3 of US military budget right now. 10 years ago, 1/10th. And US military budget is spread out across at least 2+ fronts. Middle East + Pacific. While China's limited itself to Pacific only. So the relative difference between the US/China is even closer than the "1/3" version. Its more ~1/2.

China's economy is still growing, its budget will grow even more in 10 years from now, or even 5 years from now. Military budget of China today matches military budget of EU.

China's GDP ~ 23 trillion (ppp) and 12 trillion nominal. US's is at 18,5 trillion. It already overtook PPP, for nominal, its 64% of US today.

10 years ago. China (PPP) was at 7.6 and 3.5 Trillion at nominal. US was 13.9 trillion. 25% of US.

20 years will a very different world than current world. Geopolitics will certainly change.

I never said that there was anything wrong with that. I just said that America has not grown as much as other countries.

well it's not like there's much growing left to be had

the pauper always as a greater margin of growth than the rich man

Exactly. I'm not saying I'm surprised other countries have grown faster. Just stating the historic/economic fact.

The 21st Century will be defined by the rise of China and India and;

The demographic collapse of East Asia, including China, and the even worse collapse of the West.

China won't replace the US, it'll pull ahead in economics but lag in other areas. It will begin a relative decline thereafter.

The most untapped natural resource and demographic potential lies in Africa.

The 22nd will be the African century.

Short term thinkers learn Arabic. Longer term thinkers learn Hindi and Chinese.

People who want to be relevant in the big moves of the 2070s need to learn French, English, and Portugese.

who the fuck would learn arabic

there's nothing of value to read

Africa has no culture, no civilization. They cannot become a power when there's no cultural force strong enough to pull them together.

The Chinese, the Europeans, the Middle East all are hotspot for potential power. America propelled due to European culture transplant. That's not to say Africa won't develop. It will, significantly. But its powers will be limited comparatively.

Is pic related the Ultimate Redpill? Did all the events in the last decade happen because America and Russia are in the second phase of the Cold War?

Sorry forgot to post pic.

No, China's potential for explosive growth has pretty much been tapped and its rapidly aging demography dooms it to always being behind the US. India, despite its large population, will never be a global power. There's too much bureaucracy between the states and India is incredibly capital-poor.

The US (along with New Zealand oddly enough) will soon be the only developed nation experiencing consumption-driven growth.
