Not even close
Just in Europe, the French one is better
Let's not even talk about US, Chinese and Russian ones
British land army has always been shit btw

What makes the French better besides numbers ?

>pound for pound
The British army spends far more on each soldier then the French
>British army always shit
Hahahahaha

Pound for pound they are shit on by their colonies.
This goes for more than just the military, too.

No, that title probably goes to some small wealthy nations highly specialized tiny military

Expanding on this, my suggestion would be Australia

The British Army is at its best when they make the Canadians do all the work for them.

Well they look better. Most of our infantry look like walmart stockers.

Pound for pound even the Lithuanian army is probably better. Brits are notorious for their cowardice and shit military tech (just think of the abominable piece of shit the SA80 is).

No, not the best. But far from the worst. They spend a huge amount of money on training their more elite soldiers, like the SAS, Parachute Regiment and Royal Marine Commandos. The problem is that they aren't meeting their recruiting targets (and haven't done for a long time), which has prompted the British government to plan a transformation of the Army to make it more reliant on reserves, which will only lower it's quality overall. Nevertheless, it remains a small and highly trained Army with a focus on rapid, medium-scale operations. In short, it's small but well-trained and specialized (and centered around that purpose), although it's likely to get worse in the coming years

the french army is only relevant because everytime they go in (like in mali) the foreign legion clears out the area in front of them...

Not at all.

And this isn't the board to be asking that, is it?

Does are some efay guns

They're absolute garbage.
t. /k/

France has the strongest military in Western Europe

>Western Europe
>military

Of course the nigger is the one not looking straight ahead when in formation.

Have the French actually embarked on any significant military operations in recent years and had any success doing so? Having the numbers and resources to deploy troops abroad doesn't mean shit if you're not used to doing it. The British aren't the best but at least they use their military

>ignores the other black soldiers with their eyes locked dead ahead

Nope, Hezbollah. With less than 3,000 regular troops they repelled an IDF invasion back in 2006, and have the most sophisticated guerilla tactics ever developed. Their insurgency and counter-insurgency strategies are being studied by nearly every military on Earth.

They're just not very significant globally because Lebanon is so small.

They do shit in Africa all the fucking time to maintain their cultural legacy and feel important.

France is the European country that conduced the most operations these last two decades
And unlike Brits who only ever fight in America's wars as henchman, France conduce many wars on its own in Africa

the A1s were
the A2s in use nowadays and all the SA80 variants (fuck the LSW tho) are actually pretty good since H&K fixed them

I would argue peacekeeping operations in chaotic former colonies doesn't give an army any experience of fighting a modern war

Yeah, "peacekeeping"...
These are real wars faggot
As much as the American dick-sucking operation Britain takes part in in the Middle East

>France would not join serious, real wars in the middle east out of pure fear

>Nope, Hezbollah. With less than 3,000 regular troops they repelled an IDF invasion back in 2006, and have the most sophisticated guerilla tactics ever developed. Their insurgency and counter-insurgency strategies are being studied by nearly every military on Earth.
Care to elaborate further? I'm genuinely interested to read more about this topic

>Under 5000 troops deployed in each instance
>Barely any casualties

Are you shitting me? Fucking about in Africa with a few regiments worth of soldiers and doing shit all doesn't exactly count as a 'real war'. Are you joking or are you actually this retarded?

The US has the strongest military in Europe.

They joined in Afghanistan and are currently fighting in Iraq and Syria
They just happen to also have their own independent operations in Africa too, unlike Brits who are solely America's lapdog

This is a little dated (pre Syria) but talks about the failed 2006 Israeli invasion pretty well

opendemocracy.net/article/the-hizbollah-project-last-war-next-war

Big takeaway is that Hezbollah is incredibly sophisticated, more than any other insurgent group on the planet. They've turned Lebanon into a stronghold almost as defensible as Israel, and pose the only seriously existential threat to Israel on the planet.

Numbers are generally all that matter, but France is one of the few countries that have actual aircraft carriers plus the Leclerc is likely one of if not the most advanced tanks on earth.

>t. /k/
>doesn't know about the L85A2

Or Israel. Having a US funded military helps.

I guess so.

>they're only good because their special forces are good

The fact you even mention Russia and China shows how retarded you are.

Anyway OP go to /k/ if you want a real answer.

Hezbollah is based as fuck. Based carthaginians know whats up

I fucking love these guys.
