I'm sitting in my home, at 5 in the morning, speaking to people across the world. I just finished The Life and Battles of Saigo Takamori, a book about a man who lived over 100 years ago in a country all the way on the other side of the world, and I read it on the internet about five minutes after someone recommended it.

I sit in a air-conditioned (or heated) office, in a comfy chair, and work with people who are from all over the country. One person could probably do the job three of us do. I go home and have dinner with my wife who teaches children at a private school, and watch T.V. on a couch that's so comfortable I usually fall asleep on it. Then I get into my queen sized bed, with my Egyptian Cotton sheets, and enjoy the silence of my own house. On weekends I do about 2-3 hours worth of yard work, and spend the rest of my time shitposting, playing video games, shooting, or watching movies.

But yeah, I totally wish I was a fucking peasant. Sounds totally rad.
